Once again Kea sat in the familiar dreary drawing room of her Grandmother's house. She loved the landscapes around the house after all she was in Italy but the house itself was practically awful. She often wondered if a spell had gone wrong sometime ago and brought the design of a Victorian house into the future. Somehow she doubted that but it was nice to laugh about while her Grandmother rambled on about clearing her mind so she could use her powers properly. This sounded silly to Kea

The only reason she agreed to come to the house that day was because of her being a seer. She had inherited it from her Grandmother and she was the only one who could show her how to control it. It caused her great annoyance that she could not touch all that many people without seeing their past or future. Just that morning she had been playing with her little cousin Paris and when she went to lift her up to swing her in circles she saw an image of Paris' mother telling a much older Paris they were moving to America. She liked America but she didn't want her favourite little cousin to move so far away. Kea never really understood the element of surprise, as she usually already knew it was going to happen.

Daydreaming was the only time when Kea could really just pretend she wasn't a seer and that she would fall in love with someone unexpectedly and wouldn't have to worry that something in his future might change that. Sadly that day daydreaming didn't really last long as she was shook very harshly by her Grandmother.

"Keavey Alana Murphy are you listening to me? I thought you said you wanted my help and then when I try to give you it you sit and daydream .You must have more manners dear"

Not listening she continued to daydream.For some reason she wished she was back at Hogwarts. Maybe it was the fact that she didn't have to worry about getting a job. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to be an auror. She had all the N.e.w.ts that she needed but some Aurors had been through many a tragedy and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to relive something like that. It was bad enough having to deal with your own tragic memories let alone someone else’s.
