Don had a frustrated expression on his face as he stormed along the shops in Diagon Alley. He had lost a match against the Bats, and was in a foul mood even though it was merely a friendly match. The captain had been easy on him, of which he is grateful for, but it made him felt worse. If there was anybody to blame for his inattentiveness (?) during the match, it would be his "stepmother" and the evil stepsisters. He'd only met them once or twice, and immediately disliked them all, even though he had to admit his stepmother was sort of nice to him. But whatever. That didn't gave them the right to enter his family.

CAryn sighed as she strolled down the street of Diagon Alley, not at all paying attention where she was going, nor walking that fast. At the moment, she was kicking a stone with her foot as she went. Glancing up for a moment, her eyes darted around the street. It wasn't that crowded at the time for some reason, just a few wandering. Within a moment from glancing around and walking, she had run into someone.

Stumbling backwards for a second but able to keep her balance, she readjested her robes then looked up at who she had run into. "I'm sorry, I really wasn't watching where I was going at all..."

The Stonewall Stormers Seeker sneered at her, his expression one of blank. "Obviously," he said darkly, crossing his arms. Don raised his eyebrow at her. "Since you didn't wear your glasses out today, I'll forgive you."

He turned away, in a worse mood than before, because he knew that woman hadn't meant to crash into him. He shouldn't have snapped at her like that, but Don couldn't help himself. This is what happens when he gets irritated.

Caryn stared at him for a moment before reconizing his face. Of course she watched Quidditch, it was the greatest thing god had invented since the broom. At the moment she couldn't help but smile. "Forgive me for interupting you once again, but y-you're Donovan Sphynx, aren't you?" she asked, hoping she was right for once.

She wasn't the best at placing faces but anyone could place his. Whenever she spoke to Alice about it, they both practically drooled over him and Lily always said it was rubbish.

Donovan groaned inwardly; he had forgotten to use his disguise. He turned back around and smiled tightly at the shorter woman. "Yes," he said, not unwarily, figuring she'd probably want his autograph or something. "Is something the matter?"

His eyes took in the other girl; she wasn't ugly but she wasn't exactly a head turner either. And she likely had a boyfriend, so forget about even thinking of asking her out for a drink to apologise for his rudeness.

Caryn's grin grew wider as she swung her bag that was slung over her shoulder around to her front. "My friend and I absolutly love you but Alice says niether of us have a chance," she remarked, rumaging through her bag for a school of parchament and quill or such. She hadn't realized what she had said with the first comment about having a chance, for she did have a boyfriend, Sirius Black. He had told her a couple of times he loved her and she wasn't well, doubting that.

Pulling out a scroll of parchament and a Muggle pen she had, she held it at for him, "You wouldn't mind giving me two autographs, one for me and one for a friend?" she asked, slight hope n her tone as she tilted her head tot he side slightly.

Don blinked; did it mean that girl was boyfriendless? He continued to eye her warily. Was she giving him a 'subtle' hint? Who was this Alice anyway? He caught himself before he continued on that line of thought, and glanced at the girl.

He sighed inwardly; somehow he'd expected that. No one else seemed to have seen him yet, so what did it matter? Don took the piece of parchment and pen from her and paused. What was her name again? "Who should I address to?" he asked, giving her the smile that was used to melt girls.

Caryn couldn't help but smile as he took the paper, "Caryn, and the other one to Alice, if you're sure you don't mind," she stated, clearly happy she was getting his autograph. Tilting her head to the side slightly, she felt her heart skip a beat in slight excitment. She couldn't wait to tell Lily when she got back to her Flat. She was now standing in front on the Stonewall Stormer's Seeker.

Her brown eyes darted around the road. Supprisingly, no one else had noticed him yet so he was actual able to give her his autograph. For a day in Diagon Alley, it wasn't that crowded.

Don scribbled something for this annoymous girl called Alice and handed Caryn the parchment while he wrote another one for her. Dear Caryn, he wrote. Always a pleasure to meet a cute girl like you. With that, he signed his name with a fluorish (sp?).

"Is there... anything else?" he asked in mild politeness.

Caryn gazed at the parchament, the smile still sitting on her face. "N-No, that's great, it's perfect," she remarked, still in a slight dazed expression. "Thanks so much," she added with a smile as she swung her bag around on her side again and placed it in the front pocket, quite sure not to get it wrinkled. Dropping the pen in the bag, she nodded at him, before stepping aside so he could pass.

(BBL. tongue.gif)

Don gave her a half smile in reply to her nod. "See you around," he drawled, and winked before he continued in the direction he was walking earlier before Caryn stopped him. He wondered, briefly, if he should have asked her out, since he doubted that she had a boyfriend, then dismissed it.

((Sigh... k... ^.^))

Caryn smiled once again before conituing down the street to Florish and Blots, in the need of a new set of stationary. Her mother was complaining that now since she had a job, she needed stationary to match it. With a sigh, she plopped down on a bench, she figured her new set of stationary could wait. SHe wasn't in that much of a hurry. Glancing down the cobblestone street, she smiled as she watched his retreating back. She had just met Donovan Sphynx.
