((Sorry I forgot this... tag Sirius))
Remus waited in the tea room of the St. Mungos Hospital, waiting fo rhis appointment. He had about one of these every year for his "condition," as they called it. Remus had been a werewolf for many years now and he still wasn't used to it. These check-ups were always a hassle and always took forever just for the doctor to tell him that nothing had changed for the better or worse.
At least Remus wasn't alone as he sipped his tea. Sirius had agreed, although reluctantly, to accompany Remus here. Usually Remus had to come to these things alone and it could be quite a bore. The hospital wasn't exactly the most thrilling place to be.
Remus hated the hospital because everything was so clean and sterile, almost too clean. It made him feel uncomfortable. But maybe he always felt uncomfortable because sitting here always brought back memories. Bad memories. Memories of him being carried in by his parents in a deep fever. This was where he was first daignosed as a werewolf. Remus automatically reached over his shoulder and began to rub his back where the werewolf had attacked him. He still remembered the exact feeling of when it first happened, every momment of it.
Remus, trying to clear his mind of his morbid memories picked up a piece of biscotti and began gnawing on it between his incisors and front molars. It was llike a dog chews a bone or a dog biscuit. It was a bad habit that Remus had developed and it annoyed a lot of people, including his friends. Remus found that being a werewolf had its effects on you even when you aren't in "the stage" as the doctor had called it. Remus's hearing seemed to be fairly sharper than most and his sense of smell is unusually accurate.
"Thanks for waiting here," Remus said finally addressing Sirius who had a rather bored look on his face in Remus's opinion. "Biscotti?" Remus asked holding his between his teeth an picking up another one to offer to Sirius. Hopefully their appointment would start soon, but Remus knew it wouldn't. The doctor always was late. Remus sighed and continued to gnaw on his cookie.

Sirius was sitting down opposite Remus, just watching whatever Remus did. He really didnt feel like coming to the hospital, but it was the least he could do for his friend. He knew Remus had done alot for him in the past, especially back at Hogwarts. Part of him wished he was back at that school where life was simpler and more laid back. But another part of him was glad they graduated, he wouldnt have to see his family again and he could be with his friends. Just like he was now.
He glanced at a young couple traipsing after a stumpy nurse towards the elevators, the girl looked like she had a turnip sticking out of her ear. But theywere far away so he couldnt tell if he was right or not. He let out a short sigh and began to bounce his head against the back of his armchair.
In the end Sirius grew tired of that and started to close his eyes, thinking about Caryn. A smile flickered across his face as he remembered visiting her apartment and she had her bed in her hand. He actually thought it was a toy, it just proved how stupid he could be. He opened his eyes, looking over at Remus. Why did I come here. He thought to himself, shaking his head and looking down at his cup of coffee.
"Thanks for waiting here,"
Sirius' eyes shot up and looked back at Remus. "Yeah, no problem," he replied gruffly, looking back at his coffe and picking up a teaspoon. He put it into the cup, before carefully swirling the contents around, he hoped the doctor would be ready soon.
"Biscotti?"
Rolling his eyes Sirius looked up once again and saw Remus with a biscotti between his teeth. "You look like a moron Moony." He muttered, taking the biscotti Remus was holding. "Thanks." He broke the biscotti in half and dunked it into his coffee, before putting it in his mouth and swallowing it. "So, have you got a girlfriend yet?" He asked, feeling curious.

"Yeah, no problem,"
Remus smiled a little, glad to have a friend here. Sirius may seema bit insensative at times, but he really was one of the best friends that Remus could ask for. He came through when he was really needed. That could be said for their whole group of friends. All of them were really close and would never let the others down.
"You look like a moron Moony."
"Sorry," Remus said taking the the slobbery biscotti out of his teeth and held it in his fingers. He looked at it with slight distaste for how it looked now, sooaked in his slobber. He really must have looked like a dog, with the slobbery cookie stuck in his mouth. Shoving the remainder of it in his mouth, he forced himself to chew it with his mouth closed like a normal human. It actually took thinking to do that now because it never came naturally.
"So, have you got a girlfriend yet?"
"Umm, not exactly," Remus said quietly, looking down at his tea. The cup was rather small and sat on top of a tiny saucer, both which Remus held in his hand. The soggy tea bag was set on the side of the saucer and there were remnants of tea leaves straggling along the bottom. It reminded Remus of those days back at school and the professor trying to make them read tea leaves. Remus never quite grasped divination, but he got decent marks because he always read the book, which is more than he could say for his group of friends.
Remus blushed a little though realizing that he hadn't had time recently to get a girlfriend. It was just like in school, Remus would always be working. Remus may not have to study to pass tests anymore, but he was always occupying himself with work for the Order. Remus sighed at how screwwed up his personal life seemed. It had been so long since he had a girlfriend. "I guess I'm sort of overdue," he said shrugging thinking of what a fool Sirius must think of him.
"So how are things with Caryn going?" Remus asked. "You guys have been spending a lot of time together. Remus smirked a little remembering seeing them together deep in conversation, in their own little world. Remus may always have his nose in a book, but he still was aware of what was giong on. They were his friends afterall. "Does Caryn have any cute friends?" Remus asked laughing a little. Remus really wasn't in a rush to get a girlfriend. He had enough to worry about without one.

"Sorry,"
Sirius raised an eyebrow, he wasnt really bothered about the apology, but it actually looked like Remus was having a hard time eating like a civilised person. "I 'ent being funny or nothing, but maybe you should go to these muggle classes on how to eat properly and stuff. I have to keep correcting you on how to eat, otherwise you look like a dog."
"Umm, not exactly,"
Sirius looked quite triumphant for no apparent reason. Probably his manners... He thought to himself, a tiny smirk appearing. He quickly concealed it with a cough, hoping Remus hadnt seen him smirking. "What do you mean, not exactly?" He asked, looking quite puzzled. "Oh.." He picked up his cup and took a small sip out of it, before chucking the remainder into a yukka plant to his left. "Don't tell me you met a girl but she hasn't called you or something?" He shrugged, not really understanding how someone could 'not exactly' have a girlfriend.
"Actually, don't answer that..." He added hastily as he saw Remus blush. He had rarely seen any of his friends blush, so he guessed this was a bad topic.
"I guess I'm sort of overdue,"
"You can say that again," Sirius joked, eating the other half of his cookie. He grinned, running his tounge along his bottom teeth to get rid of the crumbs of his cookie.
"So how are things with Caryn going?" ..."You guys have been spending a lot of time together." ... "Does Caryn have any cute friends?"
"Everythings good." He said dreamily, rubbing his shoulder as he thought about Remus' question. "Look how about after the next full moon, me, James, Lily, you and Caryn could go clubbing. You might meet someone there," he suggested. It was probably one of the best suggestions he had made, so he hoped Remus would agree.

"I 'ent being funny or nothing, but maybe you should go to these muggle classes on how to eat properly and stuff. I have to keep correcting you on how to eat, otherwise you look like a dog."
Remus scowled a little, but only for amomment before returning to his usual mellow and somewhat tired expression. "I'm not that bad," he said making sure that he had finished chewing and sitting up straighter. "My manners are perfectly fine. They're just a little...err...different because of the circumstances," Remus said trying to explain himself. When he was younger, Remus was always very polite and smart. Really he was what every parent wanted in their child, but recently, he could feel the werewolf side of him taking more of an effect. The doctor said that it was natural and that nothing was getting worse, but Remus doubted that. Remus always was a little pessimistic though.
"What do you mean, not exactly?" ..."Don't tell me you met a girl but she hasn't called you or something?" ..."Actually, don't answer that..."
Remus laughed a little at how his friend didn't understand that Remus had not been with, not met or even tried to hit on any girl since they were in school. Of course Sirius wouldn't understand though. He was the consummate ladies man and he never had trouble getting a girl. They always seemed to just fall into his arms.
"Everythings good."..."Look how about after the next full moon, me, James, Lily, you and Caryn could go clubbing. You might meet someone there,"
"I dunno," Remus said uncertainly not really sure if that was a good idea. Remus wasn't exactly the clubbing type of person. Sometimes Remus felt bad though because he felt like he held back his more adventurous friends. They always seemed to have to work their schedule around the lunar calendar and Remus was apprehensive about everything, always being cautious. It was always a wonder that they caused so much trouble in school. Remus wasn't the type of person to whine a lot of stop them, but he didn't exactly jump at the opportunity to get in trouble either. He's shared his fair share of detentions while in school thanks to Sirius and James though.
"Well, maybe. I guess we could," Remus said changing his mind and bennding to the will of Sirius. He usually did. He always did what his friends wanted him to do. He was so appreciative of is friends that he always let them do what they wanted with slack. It was because he was afraid that he would lose them and then have nobody. People weren't exactly willing to befriend a werewolf.
"Am I a hassle to you guys?" Remus asked wondering if he hampered their schedule at all. James and Sirius were always so adventurous and he was always stopping them because he was a werewolf.

"I'm not that bad," ... "My manners are perfectly fine. They're just a little...err...different because of the circumstances,"
Sirius chuckled as he saw Remus sitting up, he had to admit that Remus did have better manners than him. He usually slouched around all the time and only bothered to have manners if he was trying to impress somone. "It must be hard being a werewolf," he said, much louder than he intended it to be. He hoped nobody had heard and quickly scanned the room, just to check if anyone was there. Luckily there wasnt.
He watched as Remus laughed, not feeling too happy about that. "Oh stop laughing, you just confuse me all the time," he moaned, shaking his head and picking up a small muffin from the table.
"I dunno," ... "Well, maybe. I guess we could,"
"Nothing will go wrong, because when have I ever done something wrong?" Sirius smiled sweetly and tried to act innocent. "Anyway it'll be fun, i've got some money from my..." He paused, trying to think of another word for his parents. "From my, distant relatives. They gave it to me so I would leave them alone and pretend i'm not related to them. It suits me fine." He began squishing the muffin in his hand, before popping it into his mouth and chewing on it.
"Am I a hassle to you guys?"
Sirius continued to chew the muffin, trying to figure a way round the question. A werewolf as a friend ment alot of hassle, but he had grown used to it over the years he had known Remus. He didnt want to offend his friend anyway so he decided to be netrual about the question.
He finished chewing the muffin and reached out to pick up another one. "You arent really a hassle, when we first met you it was annoying with the shrieking shack. But now i've grown used to full moon days. They can even be fun sometimes." He said quietly, picking up a green muffin. "What the? Ok this is weird, why are there green muffins?"

"It must be hard being a werewolf,"
Remus darted a quick eye around the tea room and was relieved that nobody was within hearing distance of them. He smiled a little bit in relief and said, "It's not too bad." He was lying. "I mean you have to admit that some of the things that we've done on the full moon nights have been pretty interesting," he said reminiscing to the times when they'd all go out to the shreiking shack and accompany Remus.
"Nothing will go wrong, because when have I ever done something wrong?"
"Do you really want me to answer that?" Remus asked eyeing Sirius. Remus remembered several occassion while they were in school and all four of them, actually three of them, because Peter never seemed to get hurt, would end up in the Hospital Wing after an adventure. Peter probably never got hurt because he always weasled his way out of things. He was the last one behind and right when the situation got tough, he always seemed to dissapear.
"Anyway it'll be fun, i've got some money from my..." ..."From my, distant relatives. They gave it to me so I would leave them alone and pretend i'm not related to them. It suits me fine."
Remus really felt bad for Sirius's situation. Remus couldn't imagine being that distant from his family. Even though he was a werewolf, his family had managed to not ostracize him and still deal with it. Of course the situation seemed to favor Sirius as they tended to bribe him to stay away from the Black's manor.
"You arent really a hassle, when we first met you it was annoying with the shrieking shack. But now i've grown used to full moon days. They can even be fun sometimes."
"Good times," Remus muttered thoughtfully. Remus rubbed his eyes which had heavy bags underneath them. Remus never got any sleep around the full moon time and it always took its damage upon him. Taking a small vial out of his robes, Remus swished around the remainder of the liquid, which was sparse. Remus needed more medicine. The effects of the full moon were really hitting him hard recently.
"What the? Ok this is weird, why are there green muffins?"
Remus jumped a little, almost dropping the vial, but catching it before it smashed against the hospital floor. Quickly sticking the vial back into his robes to avoid any further accidents, Remus cocked an eyebrow at the muffin Sirius was holding. "You really should pay more attention to what you're eating," Remus said patting his companion of the shoulder. He pointed to the tray of muffins and motioned towards and blue one and a neon pink one right next to it. Remus didn't know what it was either, but he wasn't about to try it. They didn't look all that appetizing. Besides, colored foods in the wizarding world generally turned some part of your body a different color after you've digested it. Remus found that out after he had green teeth for almost a whole week.
"Where's James been recently?" Remus asked curiously. It was a wonder that they had all managed to stay friends and stay together after graduation. It was made easier by the fact that they were all in the Order, but still, most people never saw eachother again after graduation. To Remus, that just proved how good of friends they were. Inseparable.

"It's not too bad." ... "I mean you have to admit that some of the things that we've done on the full moon nights have been pretty interesting,"
Sirius smirked, not saying anything. He just nodded, thinking about everything that happened at the shrieking shack, it was like the good old days where they didnt have a care in the world. The only thing they cared about was having fun.
"Do you really want me to answer that?"
"Not really," he replied, slightly hesistant. He wanted Remus to answer it for a laugh, but he thought he would get too embarrased about everything he had done wrong in the past.
Sirius then watched as Remus pulled out a strange little vial, with barely anything in it. He furrowed his brow, wondering what it was. Suddenly it came to him that it was Remus' medicine, it was obivous.
He watched as Remus jumped after he mention a green muffin. The vial nearly fell, but luckily Remus caught it. "You need to be more careful mate." He mutered, prodding his muffin.
"You really should pay more attention to what you're eating,"
Sirius shrugged, staring at the brightly coloured muffins. "It cant be that bad, maybe you should try the pink one?" He suggested, bringing the green muffin to his mouth and nibbling it. "Eurgh!" He spat the crumbs out and put the muffin back on the tray. "Its a bogey muffin," he said, looking around for a drink to get rid of the awful taste.
"Where's James been recently?"
Sirius poured himself out anothr cup of coffee and took a small sip. "I dont actually know, but I was looking at these aparments." He began, wringing his hands. "I was thinking of getting one with three bedrooms. So me, you and James could be flat mates. I dont know about Peter though." He glanced at Remus, smiling.

"It cant be that bad, maybe you should try the pink one?"..."Its a bogey muffin,"
"I don't think I will try one," Remus said at Sirius's first invitation to try it. Remus picke dup tht epink one though and began to examine all sides of it, trying to determine what type of muffin it was. As soon as Sirius revealed his as being a bodey muffin, obviously these were like Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, except in muffin form. It seemed like Bertie Bott's was taking over everything, they were growing to be so popular. Remus immediately put down the pink muffin though feeling that he had lost his appetite.
"I dont actually know, but I was looking at these aparments."
Remus had wondered where James was recently. They hadn't been seeing a lot of him, but Remus always just assumed he was with Lily, which was great because that's what James always wanted, but Remus couldn't help wishes that they could spend more time together like the old days.
"You were looking at apartments and....?" Remus said cocking an eyebrow. Remus thought that this would have something to do with Caryn. Remus thought that they were moving pretty quickly for a relationship, but that's just the way the Sirius worked. Plus Remus wouldn't really know wht was fast or slow because he had never been in a serious relationship. He figured though that Sirius was testing one of his crazy ideas on Remus before he popped it on Caryn.
"I was thinking of getting one with three bedrooms. So me, you and James could be flat mates. I dont know about Peter though."
Remus was shocked when he heard that it had nothing to do with Caryn. It seemed that recently everything Sirius did involved her. A smile apparent on his face Remus said, "Yeah! That would be brilliant!" Remus thought that the idea of all of them living together again would be wonderful. "Why not Peter though?" Remus asked giving Sirius a stern eye. Of his three friends, Remus was least fond of Peter, but Remus was also a very fair guy.
"So where have you been looking at apartments?" Remus asked, taking the vial of medicine out once more and playing around with it in his hands. Remus looked up as a mother and a daughter came in and she was completely blue and when she sneezed, she sneezed out puff of purple smoke. Remus cocked his eyebrow at the weird thought for only a second before directing his attention to Sirius.
"Peter has been acting oddly lately. What's the matter with him to you reckon?" Peter seemed more distant. In Remus's opinion, he never really fit into the group and more tagged along just because the three of them would tolerate him. He knew that Peter seemed to idolize James and Sirius, but recently, things had been quite different. Ever since they graduated really. Peter was simply more distant and colder with all of them. Of course all of this was very subtle, but Remus felt it.
