Sheryl walked into her hut, and was very proud at her making herself at home. Using a few easy spells, bright colors were on every wall, and some walls had huge murals of beaches and jungles from her home country. Her furniture was tropical, with bright reds, oranges, greens and blues, often with bamboo or some other exotic materials. There were various perches for her bright pets, and if one was not used to the room it would seem a bit overpowering. However, for Sheryl, it was home away from home, being in love with bright colors and bold patterns. She sat down at her bamboo edged desk and started to work on correcting the work students had already sent her, using bright ink that changed from one tropical color to the next.

The ghost floated clear through the walls and into the hut, looking around and suddenly glade that his vision was in black and white, since he could even tell through the grey tones that this could be a blindingly bright place. "I see you're adjusting well, professor." He said, to announce his presance, since he had a tendancy of accidentally sneaking up on people. It wasnt his fault ghosts dont make a sound when they move, or dont have to knock, either. He didnt intend to bother the professor, just hang around a bit for the sake of knowing that he was in living company. Maybe he'd go and bother the hippocampus a bit.

She jumped abit at the sound of an unexpected voice, and turned around to see a young ghost. She then grinned, "Hola Senor," she said, "You asustó, I mean, scared me. Still having to adjust to english, the rest is just fine." She said, laughing. A Parrot flew to her shoulder, looking curiously at the shining transperent figure. "Oh Azul, shoo now, you are constantly a bother," she scolded.

"I am a ghost." He said, chidingly, grinning in a joker's way. He looked curiously upon the parrot, tilting his head for a moment before shrugging it off. "I dont think anyone expects less of you, and it's a nice change from the last care of magical creatures professor that I remember. Hagrid was a good man, though a bit out of tune when it came to what animals are dangerous and what arent." He said, with a light chuckle. "If you want me to leave, just say so, I know I can tned to make people alittle unnerved. And I make things a bit colder, too."

"Everything feels cold here in England," she said, waving off his concern laughing, "I'm glad to hear you think the students are enjoying my lessons. I've never been to England before, nor have I ever taught Care of Magical Creatures, though I grew up around animals all my life. It has been an interesting experience, though the one thing I'm not looking forward to is snow. After all these years of traveling, I still haven't gotten used to it, or liked it." She grinned at him, pushing a piece of her coffee-and-cream colored hair out of her face. She thought it odd, to be having a conversation with a ghost, but everything around here seemed odd.

He grinned and shook his head, allowing himself to lean back against a wall, knowing quite well he could fall through it if he let his thoughts wander too far. "I used to love snow." He said, grinning and nodding knowingly. "It's very good for hitting students with. Seeing as you teach outside, it should be useful to toss some at a inattentive student." He said, chuckling lightly. He could still grip things, if he focused his attention on doing so, just as he managed to lean against the wall. He'd been known to aid students in snowball fights if he saw fit, though the sensation of feeling was out of the question.

"I shall have to think about that, though starting to rant in spanish usually gets their attention," she said, smiling, "I'm just glad that they don't know what I'm saying. It's definitely a good way to vent my anger without causing any students alarm," she winked at him, before looking at the papers. She knew she graded easily, and was surprised to see that not very many essays had been flown in. She thought most people would want to do it so they could get an easy O.

He chuckled lightly, smiling. "It's a good idea, since there are students who just love the oppertunity to get a professor in trouble. If I happen to be floating around and see one of them being obnoxious to you, I'll be sure to fly through them." He said, with a haphazard grin, but he cast his gaze onto her papers. "Ah, I believe I should go, I'd hate to disturb you if I'm grading, since that might get me kicked out, and finding hauntig grounds isnt easy. I dont prefer the graveyards or empty churches so much." He said, with a shake of his head, slowly beginning to slip through the wall he leaned on.

"Pleasure talking to you," she called after him, then shook her head grinning. The Headmaster was right when he said anything could happen at Hogwarts. She looked down at her papers, and continued to grade, and started thinking about what would be fit for her next lesson. It should be something that appealed to both boys and girls, as the chickos seemed less enthralled at the Hippocampuses. The word obnoxious got her thinking, and she wrote down a couple of notes to refer to later.

Risk slowly approached Proffessor Daventport's temporary home, after having been herded along and a few times dragged by Ivan. He looked over at his taller friend and groaned, walking up to the door and giving it a kick to show his irritation and to announce their presance. "Proffessor!" He called, in the most lack luster, yet annoying voice he could muster. Regis curled up in Risk's hand, hissing angrily, almost as if he knew what was going to happen. And he probably did.

The Professor jumped a bit at the sound, and opened the door to face three students faces. Some looked less than enthusiastic. "Can I help you ninos?" she asked, wondering if there was some kind of problem. She spotted the creature on one of their arm's, but didn't cringe or look away, she found it rather fascinating. However if that was not the problem she would keep her opinions to herself.

Ivan spoke up for Risk, since he knew he was in a stubborn ass mood and probably wouldnt say what they had intended. "We need you to take a look at.. er, Regis." He said, motioning to Risk with the ferret half curled around his palm and half around his wrist. "Risk found him under a rock by the lake... and he bit him, too, so we just want to make sure he doesnt have rabies or something."

"Ah," she said, perfectly understanding. "Well, is he willing to go to anyone else? I'm doubting it by his hissing, but I think I'll still ask. She took her wand out, flicking her wrist an examining table appeared in the middle of the hut, and with another flick she had her arms up to her elbows covered in Dragon hide gloves. She gestured them in, hoping the creature wouldn't fight too much, owners usually got distraught when that happened. She had apprenticed at a magical animal shelter, so she knew what she was doing.

Raven hovered behind the boys, and when she tentatively stepped inside, she was temporarily blinded. The room was full of bright colors and patterns, almost the opposite of her own style. Yet it suited the Professor, and it didn't seem near as drear as an animal care center would seem to be. Of course it wasn't meant for that purpose, but all the same. She had decided to just quietly watch, deciding it would be traumatizing enough for all as it was.

Risk walked into the hut, and Regis hiss loudly, growling and tightening his grip around Risk, glaring around the bright room. "Sorry, buddy, people are just too cruel these days." He said, a bit venomously, before prying the deformed ferret off of himself as gently as he could and setting him down on the table, where he curled up, hissing and bareing his fangs.
