Muggle Studies: Laying down the Class Law, Now let's get a few things straight...

Talen was now glad she had left the Muggle Studies classroom window open because she had flown into it with blade in hand, but as soon as she entered the room did she crash into the ground.

"Yep, all magic is turned off in this room...ow." She got up and examined herself with distaste. She definately looked beat-up and her black Muggle clothes looked a bit torn-up. "Great, I don't even look ready to teach..." She looked over toward the metal teacher's desk and spied the plate of spagetti that she had made earlier, though it was still steaming hot. "Actually, I don't trust time and I'm still hungry, so..." She took the plate and walked into the kitchen area before placing the plate of spagetti and sauce into the microwave and turning it to 3 minutes.

Her ears perked up as she heard the feet of students coming down the hallway toward her classroom. "Snapdragons, what to do..." She remembered that one of the walls hid a secret room due to an illusion that was immune to the room being an anti-magical zone. She bolted in and smiled at the clothes that she saw on the rack. "Sweet, mini-Requierment Room." A quick change of clothes happened in 30 seconds and the black shirt and jeans that she was wearing were replaced by an identical outfit minus the multiple tears.

She walked back out of the secret room just before the first student walked in. Talen still had multiple scars on her, but at least she looked a little bit more tidy. She was also thanking God that she liked jeans and long sleeves as she walked into back toward the front of the classroom.

For the next little bit, the class was hers.

OOC: Okay, where are all of the students? I made this thread a while ago...

IC: As the first couple of students walked in, Talen momentarily walked out of the classroom and into the hallway, making certain that no trouble occured in the hallway. One of the students suddenly felt light-handed as Talen swiped a couple of bananas out of her hands.

"Sorry, no food or drinks allowed in this classroom unless I say there's a party." The young girl blushed before going into the class. "Alright, everyone. Inside the room. The tardy bell's about to ring." Talen pointed toward a Muggle school bell above the door. "Trust me, you don't want to be late."

[Matthew Triggs]

Matthew didn't want to be late so he arrived fairly early by his standards. He saw the Proffesor wearing some type of muggle clothing. Matthew walked in to find he was one of the first ones there, very unusual. He said a quick hello to the proffesor and took a seat towards the middleof the class. He had been told that the room was anti-magic but he wanted to try anyway.

"Lumos!" he said under his breath but nothing happened. Instead, he alerted the teacher. Not a very good start.

Talen only snickered when she heard the attempt at using a spell.

"Sorry, dear student, but no magic will work in here. This is supposed to be Muggle Studies, so I made this class as close to a Muggle classroom as possible. That also includes the Muggle inability to use magic." Talen also had another reasons for the ant-magical classroom. One of them was so that the Muggle machines near the back of the class as well as the desktop computer on Talen's desk would not short out due to the high amounts of magic in the air.

The other was so that no one would suspect Talen of being a Muggle herself. Trust me, that would be bad if someone found out.
