Appearance: Tawnya is about average in height, about 5'6"--not too tall and not too short, which is just as well because it prevents her from standing out too much. Her hair is a warm brown, and quite thick, falling past her shoulders. She ties it back--being very practical despite everything, and hates getting it in her face. Her face is slim, and her body is equally so. Despite that she's a young woman, she has very few curves and is built along boyish lines. Her skin is pale, speckled in a few places with marks, and there's a mole under her left eye. Her eyes themselves are ordinary brown. She's pretty enough but not beautiful.
Personality: Tawnya is smart. Very smart. However, it amuses her to see how people react to her when they think that she's stupid and airheaded, and completely unaware of everything that's going on. She finds that they talk more around her when she acts that way and because she loves to find things out, she finds it more practical. She's a very practical girl and likes to do things that she knows will benefit her. One of these things, in her mind (which despite its intelligence can be a little bit confusing and rather strange) is acting like she doesn't understand anything. She behaves hyperly, persistantly bouncing off of walls, giggling, and generally being energetic and talkative. She has a distinct sense of humor, and is not above pranks when she feels like it.
She does like to talk, and she's very persistant and stubborn. Her energy and smile are infectious, and people who know her well know she's not as dumb as she likes to seem.
History: She was born the oldest of 5 children and the only girl. Her mother really wasn't very bright and her father didn't pay much attention to her, after all she is a girl. She the spent her days wondering around Pern looking for something to do. She quickly came to learn that more people paid attention to her when she acted dumb, then when she was herself. So that is who she has become. She was born in Bendon Hold and was searched recently even though no eggs lay on the sands.

Taw had been walking to C'thran's weyr to check in on him, knowing that he tended to get himself into trouble if left alone too long, but she couldn't stop it only, be there to help clean up. Rayth yawn behind her, but the nightflame dragoness's step perked up when C'thran's and Melloth's weyr. Suddenly the nightflame took off running as did her young rider. Taw couldn't be herself around anyone but her wingmate, so she took full advantage of it. The pair reached the entrance and Rayth was just about to croon to the other dragon as Quinta landed on his head, when all of a sudden the air was pierced with the cries of mourning dragons.
The current pair was no exception it seemed. Quinta was even adding her own ceening to the hubbub. Rayth who? What pair? Taw almost demanded of her dragoness. She saw C'thran brush it off, but then again he never paid much attention to anything any ways. It's Tiaumafth and her rider, um.... Ye... something The dragon tried to remain calm, but her heart seemed crushed as the the heart of her rider.
BANG C'thran's experiment had exploded sending him flying. Lucky for him she had added pillows where he normally fell so his landing was kind of soft. "C'thran, did Melloth tell you? Tiaumafth and Yamitria are gone dead. Rayth knows no more. Come we must go to their wyer to find out what happened." She said as she took his arm and took off running, trying to pull him behind her. Quinta had dissappeared and Rayth had gone into the bowl to await news from her rider or older dragons.
