PLAYER INFO Player Name: Linds Other Characters: Steward Rahearo, Journeywoman Harper Astor
CHARACTER INFO Character Name: M'tor (born as Malkitor) Age: 34 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Rank: Weyrsecond Craft Specialty: N/A Residence: Benden Weyr
Appearance: M'tor, despite his age, retains a baby-face attractiveness. He has bright blue eyes, a flawless complexion, and blondish-brown hair that is a bit too long for his liking. However, he keeps it at the length that the women in the Weyr seem to like best, and most of the time it flops over to the side, leaving a deep part on the left side of his head. He has a tiny scar on his forehead from a nasty fall he received during Weyrling training, but otherwise his complexion is smooth and devoid of any freckles or blemishes.
He is averagely tall, at 5'10'', and well-built from all his years of riding. There is no mistaking the muscle definition under his pants and tunic, and he is certainly a very capable lover and rider. Once a playboy, M'tor has definitely used his good looks and laid on the charm to get what he wants from the greenriders and Lower Caverns women.
M'tor likes to dress up, and always goes all out for Gathers and Hatchings while remaining comfortable yet stylish during a regular workday. He is not as vain as many of the riders in the Weyr, but he definitely takes the time to look presentable.
The Weyrleader also has a strange, curving smile that he gets when he's got a particularly strong emotion. Even if he's angry, the sloping smile will represent the passion behind his blue eyes, which are surprisingly expressionless.
Personality: Completely opposite from his young looks, M'tor is quite the old soul. He has endless insight into the world and a keen sense for leading and predicting outcomes in almost every situation. Obviously, he's smart or he wouldn't be in his position, but he also has a kind of quiet intelligence that allows him to be fair, just and a good listener. He tries to look at all the facets of a situation - or all the sides of a story - before passing judgment on it, and this pays off in his leadership positions because people generally respect him.
He is, however, stubborn beyond all conceptions of stubborn. M'tor, once set in his ways, is inflexible and relentless - and this has been a constant source of agitation between him and the Weyrwoman. He has never (and I can say that confidently) admitted when he was wrong, which has gotten him into trouble on many occasions. While he doesn't really have a temper, he is recalcitrant and unyielding if his mind is made up, and his punishments tend to be severe.
M'tor is also very picky about who he considers to be his "close" friends. He has a very small circle of people he actually trusts and it's quite difficult to get into that circle. Also, if you happen to find yourself kicked out of the circle, don't expect to get back in it any time soon. As in, any time this interval. If you happen to outlast the Interval, I still wouldn't hold your breath. M'tor's trust is hard to earn, easy to lose, and impossible to regain.
Despite all of this - a somewhat reserved, definitely stubborn outer shell - M'tor is a very passionate man. As in many of his other personality traits, he takes love and trust to the extreme, which is why he cares so deeply for the people closest to him.
History: M'tor was born at Benden Weyr thirty-four turns ago to a failed Queen Candidate and the bronzerider who Searched her. His mother hardly wanted anything to do with him, so he was fostered off to another Lower Caverns woman who already had a set of twins two turns older than him. Malkitor, as he was called back then, was always a spirited, curious boy, especially around dragons, and his foster mother soon realized he was destined to follow in his family's footsteps. The woman kept him around the dragonriders, and even encouraged him to spend time with his biological father, who was not too keen on the child. Grudgingly, though, Malkitor's dad taught him the basics of dragon-riding and, indeed, his bronze affirmed that he would make a suitable candidate.
Despite everyone's assurances, Malkitor failed to Impress three times before he finally found Solth in one of the old Senior's clutches. After Impression, M'tor and Solth excelled through Weyrling Training and flew in Threadfall among the wings for two turns becoming Wingleaders in the own right. After befriending S'nar and proving their prowess as leaders, they were elected to the Weyrsecond position when S'nar became Weyrleader.
It was a little over two months ago that M'tor was called to Fort Weyr alongside S'nar and heard the plan the Weyrs were devising, under the direction of one Lessa, to jump forward in time and rescue their planet. At first, M'tor was extremely angry that Benden was made to stay behind, but with Creline's guidance, he realized it was important that they remain there to keep the timeline flowing correctly. He was completely lost on how to keep Benden afloat through these times, though, and was sworn to secrecy by the Weyrleaders. Since then, he's been trying to keep the secret under wraps.

DRAGON INFO Name: Solth Color: Bronze Age: 18 Appearance: Solth is a large bronze. He lacks the agility of many of the smaller dragons, but is extremely wide, powerful, and has a ton of stamina to make him an excellent flyer. He has a deep, shimmering bronze coat that fades to rustier shades of copper on his wings and tail, and he has a mask-like golden-hued face. The wide array of colors present on his hide make him eye-catching, memorable, and certainly attractive. Personality: Unfortunately, Solth is not one of the most intelligent dragons in the Weyr but he has unparalleled instinct, making him a good flyer and a good searcher despite his lack of sheer knowledge. He also has a heart bigger than any dragon's in the Weyr and is quite like a great, lovable oaf. It is impossible to not like him, even though he probably won't remember your name (or even you).
