Shows Canceled as FX Pulls the Plug



Message from the Chairman of the Board:

On behalf of the Superstar Wrestling Federation, I would like to formally apologize to the FX Network for attempting to air live footage that was not appropiate for general public consumption. We here at the SWF are reevaluating our current creative direction and demographic focus as it relates to our current live action product.

Due to our contract with the FX Network being canceled, our live shows have also been postponed for the time being. A new creative staff is being sought after to replace the individuals responsible for presenting material controversial enough, it immediately got us kicked off the air.

Again, the SWF apologizes and does not want the unfortunate events of April 25, 2009 to permanently tarnish the company's image. Appropiate administrative action has been taken concerning the individuals involved. Specifics of said action I'm not at liberty to publicly discuss at this time. Legal action has also been taken.

Expect us to rebound. Our new goal is to present professional wrestling the way it was meant to be presented. Keep checking the SWF website for how we plan to present good, wholesome, sports entertainment to the entire family. We're going back to our roots. We're going back to the type of quality storytelling that made us a globally accepted pay per view phenomenon back in the 1980's and early 90's.
