Hi guys,
Can anybody tell me how to adjust the time on a w reg polo 1.0
It's the wifes wee car and she never needs an excuse for being late at the best of times smile.gif but we dont have the owners manual and the only button that i can see just starts the service mode, would be grateful for your help as its the first car that has me baffled rolleyes.gif

Does the button you see rotate slightly both clockwise and anti-clockwise?

This is how the time is set in some vw's.

The button only protrudes slightly from the bottom of the speedo with very little grip it pushes in and that resets the service data but i will try twisting it with grips in the morning but it won't go by hand sad.gif
I have a 3 seies bmw and it has a rotating button for the clock but this one has a lot of people baffled huh.gif

Hi Blueshoes - Welcome to the forum

I don't know if this will help but......

Some Polo dash units were made to look like two seperate pods with each clock having 8 screws/plastic rivets arranged around the edge

If your's is like this - If you look carefully at the plastic rivets in the tachometer surround, you'll notice two (at the 5 and 7 o'clock positions) are actually buttons. Push in with something appropriate (Toothpick etc) to set the time.

Hope this is useful
