As an overall note, everyone who isn't listed here should search for their character on the hp-lexicon for information about their surname. All surnames came from the actual Potterverse. BELBYS, the

- Please don't judge this family based on the sub plot that Mordicus is involved in. The family is considered 'good' by nearly everyone. Try not to think of them as in the mist of all the pure blood mania just because half of them are in slytherin. However, Mordicus is like this and Malcomb shows traces of this view as well.

BLACKS, jade and belle

- Jade and Belle share the same mother, but have different fathers. Jade’s father died before she was born so she was raised by just her French mother before another man walked into their lives. The new man was abusive and when he found out he had gotten Katriona pregnant, he erased all traces of her from his life; she died in childbirth. Jade, only five at the time, managed to raise her baby sister on her own. The two are as close as close can be.

BLACKS, the

- There were six siblings; Darren, Tabitha, Nicolette, Marcus, Simon and Regulus. Both Darren and Regulus are deceased, Darren long before he could be married and Regulus only after finding out he had impregnated his lover. Simon was disconnected from his family after it was found out he had helped Regulus build his muggle lover a place to live. The other siblings (Tabitha, Nicolette and Marcus), however, get along fabulously and their families often have wonderful get togethers. Their children are often nasty to Jade, Belle and Douglass, though there are some exceptions. [NOTE: Tabitha married Gregory Belby, Nicolette married Bilius Wenlock and Marcus married Therese, whose sister is married to Gary Ketteridge]

BLANES, the

- This family's mother is the sister to the Po family's father. Meaning that they are half chinese.

DERWENT, gideon

- Gideon has always had a lot of pressure put on him to be the best. He had to be the best quidditch player, the best prefect [now head boy], have the best grades....etc. But, he's starting to burn out and the added pressure from the Hogwarts Underground definitely isn't helping. Now the poor boy is starting to drift away from the family that has pushed him so hard for so long.

ELPHICKS, the

- This is a year of good news for Mafalda and Doreen Elphick and their parents. Previously dirt poor and having to live month to month on their parents sub par salaries, the family recently won a contest worth more than 300,000 galleons! [equivalent to $1446454.77] Needless to say, the family is now able to pay for everything. However, the girls are still having a bit of a hard time adapting to their new fortune.

OLDRIDGES, the

- Natalie was adopted when she was just two years old. The family's mother was no longer able to have children, but they weren't content with just two kids. Her parents have always been very open with the three of them and told her when she was seven. She went through the depression phase and has now come to terms with the situation, but would still like to meet her biological parents.

PEVERELL, antioch

- Taken directly from the plot for reiteration: "Antioch, wants power. He believes that muddied and magical folk should coexist but with key separation. He thinks that those underneath him in blood purity should be incredibly aware of magic and fear it. His nasty temper makes him one that’s difficult to please and even more difficult to go against." Contrary to his popular belief, Antioch is relatively easy to get along with. His voice is deep and raspy and makes him a figure that's very easy to follow. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing is up to the rp world.

PEVERELL, cadmus

- Taken directly from the plot for reiteration: "Cadmus, the middle child and mediator of the two other brothers. He’s a very loving man, but his arrogance (sometimes without realizing it), coupled with his tendency to be a loner has caused him to become slightly socially awkward. It’s a shame … he’s so damn clever." Also, while his brothers wish to do something big to flash their mindset, Cadmus is much more interested in working on his career, surviving Hogwarts., and finding his one true love. He's been kind of dragged into the whole thing.

PEVERELL, ignotus

- Taken directly from the plot for reiteration: "The youngest, Ignotus, considers ultimate peace to be the answer to everything. Being very brave, sneaky, and loyal, he and Antioch tend to clash heads often." Okay, don't let the 'ultimate peace' bit distort your views of Ignotus. He's actually kind of a sketchy fellow. ie. the words 'brave' and 'sneeaky' shouldn't go together. That said, the young lad has a heart of gold.

PEVERELL, prudence

- Prudence is the epitome of class. She's very comfortable with the flashing the Peverell name, along with her pearly whites. She's very elegant and the complete opposite of her younger sister, Melania. She believes that what her cousins are doing is not their place and refuses to assist any of the three.

PLATT, idris

- Idris is in a similar situation as Natalie Oldridge. She too was adopted as a baby, but was only recently told this past summer. Idris isn't taking very well at the moment.

WITHERS, ambrosius

- He is part vampire. Although this is a very small part, Ambrosius likes his meat extremely rare.

YOUDLES, the

- Near the end of last year, the Youdle's father, Joseph passed away. This has taken a real toll on the two children, but in different ways. Scarlett, who is normally very bubbly and cheerful, has become more somber. There are traces of her old personality there, but after losing the daddy to her daddy's girl, she doesn't have as much of a reason to smile. Roderick, on the other hand, tries to act as if nothing happened, while he really hurts on the inside. This act of not wearing his heart on his sleeve makes his sister extremely angry. She thinks that he should care more.
