So, I finally got around to posting my skin set download. It's a patch for the bitmaps.map file. I couldn't post the bitmaps.map file cuz it's like 302MB! It would take most of you forever to download it. So, instead I made a patch for it, but don't worry applying the patch is super simple. Just follow the directions in the readme file included in the download.

These pics were taken before I updated the reticles and the health/shield display, etc... but they give you an idea of what you're getting.

How to install the skins:

-You must have an unaltered bitmaps.map file first. (If you have skinned some stuff yourself the patch will screw things up. So, put in your Halo disc, go to My Computer, right click on the Halo disc drive, select Explore, open up the FileCab and in Cab4 is the unaltered bitmaps.map)
-Next, open up PPF-O-Matic3 that I included in the download.
-click the disc icon to the right of the ISO file, then browse and select your bitmaps.map file that is
in your Halo maps folder. (Make sure you change the "files of type:" at the bottom to "All Files")
-Next, select the disc icon to the right of Patch, browse until you find the patch you downloaded. It is called
KarPys_SkinPack.
-Then, simply hit apply and wait until it's finished. When it says patch successfully applied, burn to CD now... just click OK.

-Fire up some Halo and enjoy the new skins!!!

Skin set Description:
(These skins need to be seen on high video settings. You should at least have your texture quality all the way up,
and, if you can, put your resolution all the way up.)

-Master Chief has the Legacy of Kain emblem on his back (Soul Reaver, Blood Omen games)
-Bloodgulch sky is black
-Health/Shields display is styled nicer (done by Skelito)
-Pistol reticle is the Battle Rifle reticle from Halo 2 and 3
-Assault Rifle reticle is the old pistol reticle
-Fuel Rod Cannon and Covenant turret reticles are the Wraith reticle in single player

-Chainhog is shiny white w/black and green seats and w/pimped out rims and blackened tires
-RocketHog is black w/black and green seats and w/pimped out rims and blackened tires
-Black Scorpion w/ blood splattered undercarriage
-Halo 2 Banshee (done by Skelito)

-Pistol is shiny metal, got rid of the red/yellow dots in front
-Assault Rifle is shiny black metal with green display instead of blue
-Sniper is black
-Shotgun is black with green dots instead of blue
-Plasma Rifle is red like the Brute Plasma Rifle in Halo 2
-Rocket Launcher is blackened like in Halo 3 w/red arrow

Enjoy the Pimp my Ride version of Halo PC!!! Lolz!

These skins make the game look better, but really need to be played on the high texture quality setting. Some skins may not look correct on low texture quality settings.
