THE CLIQUES
THE DEFINITIONS
THE RULERSThe crème de la crème, this clique rules over them all. The rulers have been in power since what seems to be forever, but everything might change this year. This group consists of New York's 'it' girls, the chicks who have it all. Don't cross them, or they'll make your life a living hell. Careful, because these girls will steal your boyfriends, own the bag you can't afford and pull it off effortlessly. As for the boys, they're every girl's dream date. They play sports, they come from nice families and they charm themselves out of trouble all the time. They're the people you love to hate, and you know you can't get enough of them. Invitations into this clique are rare, and even then, what's harder than getting in is staying.
CANONS ONLYTHE RIVALSThey were always right behind the rulers. Their lives were a little more rambunctious, they had a bit more scandal, and they didn't always play by the rules. The rivals have always wanted to be on top, but sometimes it seems they create more drama
in their clique than with the other. The girls are beautiful, but they also know how to stand their ground. The boys are gorgeous, but they play the field. This clique is a bit more open to welcoming new members, but it's still very exclusive.
CANONS ONLYTHE MEDIATORSThe good kids, the ones that would never reject anyone - mianly because they know what it's like to be on the short end of the stick. The mediators are always stuck in the middle, whether they like it or not. They're good-looking, but they lack a back bone. Some of them could easily be part of the cliques, if only they weren't such dorks. Also seen as the ones who could have made it, their mistakes cost them a high position in the school's social ladder. They all have things that kept them from reaching the top, and they're stuck at the bottom.
CANONS ONLYTHE OTHERSWhoever wasn't good enough to get into a clique turned out to be another regular student. They're your everything else rolled into one group. They make up the vast majority of the high school population.
ORIGINALS ONLYTHE LOCALSThe graduates, the locals, the ones who have no idea why the high school drama follows them out in the real world... The locals are young adults who have graduated from Collingwood, or have never even heard of the school. Whatever their link to the drama is, they manage to have their own issues to work out in the city. Whoever said that high school enver ends was right, because these kids stir up some crazy drama on their own. Whether they're living in an apartment in Brooklyn, or in a Fifth Avenue penthouse, the locals have found their own cliques out in the real world.
