Personal Characteristics

Place of Origin: The desert
Strengths: He is stealthy, agile, and swift. Mosi is all about speed and sneak-attacks. He can endure without food and in extreme heat slightly longer than other lions, due to his origins in the desert.
Weaknesses: Mosi is physically rather weak. While he has some strength in his limbs, he is easily thrashed around by stronger animals. He hopes that this will change as he grows, but it remains to be seen.
Personality: Having grown up with nothing but hardship and heartache, Mosi has started to close himself slightly. He doesn’t trust easily, and everywhere his paw lands he expects it to be turned back the way it came, sending him home. He often comes off as depressed, cold, or uninterested, but he still has youthful curiosity in his favor and is prone to opening up if provoked enough.

History: Mosi is the firstborn ( hence his name ) to none other than the traitor himself, Maten. After losing Killress and fleeing the battle, he found a rogue by the name of Kehide and ended up having a cub with her. However, between Mosi’s birth and his early adolescence, his parents lost three more cubs to the heat of the desert. Mosi also noticed a certain distance and misery in his father, but he would never get the chance to learn of Maten’s twisted past, for Kehide’s fifth cub survived more than a week as the others had not. As it began to grow stronger, Mosi felt the tension in the small family grow until, finally, Maten chased him off to give his newborn a chance to survive. Mosi fled to the jungle and there, under the guidance of some kind locals and his own wits, he learned to hunt in the thick undergrowth. He lacked the brute strength of his father, but he made up for it in speed and agility. It was only recently that his paws led him from the paradise he had found, bound for the Pridelands. It was not so much the urge to find and join the pride there but curiosity that drew him.
