Her gait was slow and cautious as she went through the Boneyard. She stopped once to scent the air and could smell hyenas, obviously. From what she could smell they weren't too close which was good. Syndur could fight but she didn't really feel like it today. Syndur's traveling had brought her to many places but none so dreary and dull as here. The only reason she had even bothered stopping at the Boneyard was to get something to eat. She had heard that this place was full of mice. Hoping that the hyenas didn't mind sharing she scented the air again. She could smell one pouncing distance from her. Syndur looked and saw the little brown body scuttling around. The silver lioness crouched, judged the distance, and leaped right onto the mouse.
