Ok been playing with the handy cam again. I placed the camo covers on my tripod along with the handy cam and placed it next to the fox feeding area. I had to use and extra IR illuminator to light up the area as the handy cam has one led that's not that good. The cam can record 7 hours or so of footage but the battery is lucky to last two hours so I plugged the PSU into the shed and set the cam recording.
I left it recording for around 4 hours and captured the Foxes coming to feed. I know the Foxes are captured on the website cam but the handy cam gives HQ video along with sound. The clip I have selected is of one of the Foxes visiting for its first feed . It is not used to seeing the tripod placed there so is a little weary. You can see it on the youtube channel Here |
