The Grey Remains requires all new members to read the laws of the land as well as our unique plot. Even for an au site we are quite different from what you may have seen before.

We will attempt to have nominations for Of The Momemt awards about once a month. It takes roughly two weeks to complete the process just so members will have plenty of time to both nominate and vote for who they believe should win. Right now we are limited to character, fight couple, and thread of the moment, but with some suggestions and requests we are willing to expand on those.

This board if for both guests and members alike to post any questions, comments, or concerns. It's like our very own helpline to ensure the roleplaying happiness of our members. Keep in mind that we don't discriminate here and neither should you. No question is too lame and no concern will go unanswered. If you want things to remain anonymous then simply log out of your account and post as a guest.

Welcome! We love that you want to be apart of The Grey Remains. It just melts out little hearts. Inside you will find every tool you need in order to become a full fledged member. We have two application templates. One is for the people who just love to flesh out their characters in dramatic detail. While the other is more of a freestyle for those who like to keep things at a bare minimum. Just make sure you can keep up with our word count.

If you are struggling with your own application make sure to check these out to get a feel for what we are looking for. If you are already a member then great! Feel free to update your application with new events at anytime. We will not lock them.

These are most important. We cannot stress enough our policy on first come first serve. If you take two hours making your signature but have failed to claim your play by's face and someone else snags it in that time frame, ouch that sucks. There is nothing we can do about it. Make sure to claim everything you want immediately after being accepted. Be sure to post in code as well. It just makes the admins life a bit easier to not have to click their mouse those extra times.

Need a place to keep track of all those threads you have going? Amazing, we have just the spot for you. Just post in here to keep track of your threads. It may just make your life easier.

Do you want a specific character for your amazing plot you have rotating in your brain? Sweet. You can post a wanted ad here looking for just that character. We've made this board guest friendly as well so you have a higher chance of someone snagging your wanted character. We already know what you are going to say and our answer is; you're welcome.

Now some people find this horribly annoying but others just seem to love them. Until everyone loathes them beyond those little drop kick dogs, we will keep them. These are those fancy give - me - a - headache, colorful pages with hundreds of relationship possibilities. They are not required. You do not have to have one but please by all means...feel free.

In character aim. Do it. We are a huge supporter of the idea simply because it creates a ton of in character drama. Plus it's fun and moves plots right along. All you have to do is sign up for an aim sign name and viola, you are in the green. It is a great way for characters to interact when you don't have an hour to sit and post. Keep in mind these should not replace actually threads.

Ring Ring. Can you live without your cellphone? Well most of our characters can't either. It's just so much fun. You can send novel-like text messages, leave angry voice messages, send pictures of your best friends naked wife to him, ect. The possibilities are endless! Only one character per thread please and thank you.

Now in the past the journal thread has been a very neglected form. We want you to know that these can be fun! You can make funny little picture entries in a paint program, share your characters most inner desires, and the best part is they can be interactive! Of course you can choose to have a private journal but that is just no fun!

Woohoo! We all love pictures! Google is a wonderful thing. You can find all kinds of neat pictures of your character, their friends, and their family. We like humor, sexy, or just peeking into your characters memories. Have fun, go crazy. Heck you can even draw your own pictures or manipulate them if you'd like.

We all like drama don't we? Well do you know of something scandalous going down that the Volturi should be aware of? Awesome then this is the perfect place for you! Feel free to pop in with whatever information you deem worthy. Post in character or anonymously, this is a guest friendly form. Have fun! You know Aro and Jane will.

Does your character need to leave a note to their family, friend, lover, ect? Sweet, this is the place to do it. Just make sure to address who the note is for. This is all in character stuff so it directly messes with plots, which is fun right? The note you leave will be read by 'the character' it is for. Write away.

Home of the Spartans! Come on where is the school spirit? Oh, that's right...it's high school. No one really has school spirit. Forks high school is home to teenagers grades 9 - 12, fifteen - eighteen year olds, or so they were told. The student body may be small in numbers but the Spartans are not strangers to big town drama or sparkling.

9-1-1 here come to popo and they will bust you if you are an underaged drinker. Chief Charlie Swan can be found mulling over his mounds of paper work. Any murders, missing person reports, animal attacks, or criminal activity in general should be reported to forks’ finest. Then again what big event could possibly happen in little old Forks? Oh that's right. The missing girl who found up dead. That's no good.

Bruised? Bleeding? Battered? Near death> Or do you just want to see the gorgeous Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the new Mcdreamy? Well this is his place of employment along with several other doctors, nurses, and surgeons, and specialists. They can fix the smallest boo boos or mend a broken skull. Whatever your life threatening need is, they are at your beck and call. Just try not to die or bleed all over the place. Someone has to clean that up you know.

One of the most tranquil and scary place to be all that the same time. The grand park is surrounded by tree's, grass, benches, and pavement. Heck it even has a small pond where children go to feed the ducks. Quite a peaceful place during the day, aside from the odd dog barks. At night however it is something else entirely.

Think of your favorite food. That one dish that you could eat everyday for the rest of your life. Well, lucky for you it can be found in Forks. We have just a about everything your taste buds could ever require. The fancier restaurants are going to be packed full of mushy couples on dates, just keep that in mind.

Usually the center would have been refereed to downtown, however Forks simply isn't large enough to have a downtown. The center of Forks is the hopping place to be at all hours. It is filled with resident owned restaurants, bars, conversation, and just about anything else the workaholics may need. It's the perfect place to stir up some trouble or romance.

The length forest that surrounds the Cullens sheltered hosue stretches on for miles. Don’t be surprised to see a variety of wildlife here, including vampires, a wolf or two, or the rumored lycans. It is the perfect spot to catch a deer or maybe a human. It all depends on your taste. Beware some eerie meetings have been known to go down in the deeper sections of the forest. Not even a vampire is safe.


It is neutral ground after all.

Who says this is Edward and Bella's Meadow? No one. It is most certainly not. Nearly all of the cullen’s come here to relax. It’s also the infamous clearing where they play baseball during thunderstorms. It can be quite beautiful in any kind of weather. The many Cullen couples might just fight each other for rights to this serene place.

Everyone needs somewhere to live, right? Under the city bridge just doesn't cut it for most people. Then again we've heard there have have dogs running around town. Sign up above, and the admins will get you a house board asap for more of your lovely posting and plotting!

Two high school so close together? That's bound to be a bit of trouble. The reservation children need a school as well do they not? The older teenagers grades 9-12 should be found wandering the halls here during the day. Key would 'should.'

One of the most luscious beaches in Washington. It almost doesn't compare to the others. It's the perfect place to learn how to surf or catch a tan if the salt water isn't your thing. The locals love participating in the infamous cliff diving challenges as well. Just beware. We've been too lucky lately with everyone reaching the surface.

These are truthfully no joke. It takes someone with a very strong stomach to cliff dive off of these babies. A noted death or two have been recorded, but don’t let that stop you, feel free to take a jump if you dare. Just make sure to prey for your safe resurfacing before you hit the bottom.

The small community wraps around the central. All of the restaurants, shops, and small businesses have struck their claim here. They are all family owned so most likely if you are a local you will know the owner. That could be both a blessing or a horrific experience. So much for a private date huh?

Hmm food. Man oh man do they have that here. They may even have a larger selection then a few doors down in Forks. The rumors must be true. Those in La Push love to eat. Maybe that is why their food is so amazing!

The woods border the forest which is neutral territory. The official border in somewhere in between. It's obvious from the husky scents that smother the line. It would be a fatal mistake for some unwelcome creature to cross those boundaries without permission or even with it. Make sure you know what you are doing before you bring that fate upon yourself.

The natives need a shack to sleep now don't they? The housing in La Push is far simpler and way more modest then that of Forks. Sign up above, and the admins will get you a house board asap for more of your lovely posting and plotting needs!

Port Angeles is much closer than Seattle, even if it isn't as exciting. It's the main stop for any big shopping needs. Plus they have quite a few romantic restaurants near the movie theater for those late night dates. It's a refreshing scene from the ever familiar Forks. They have all new faces to google at as well. Lucky you.

Craving the buzz of a huge city? Sweet, traveling the few hours to Seattle. Just make sure you don't mind traffic or crazy drivers. The bustling city of Seattle is home to many infamous night clubs, enormous malls, mind blowing bars, and superb shopping. It may be a long drive but it's worth the wait.

The main reason for all of jasper's horror would be The deep South. Be warned
the blood lusting Maria and what's left of her newborn
army rule the territory. She doesn't take kindly to intruders unless they are hot to trot males who don't mind a dominant woman. Oh and don't mind spending the rest of their eternity under her thumb.

Home to the cream of the crop, the ‘royal family’ of all vampires: ‘The Volturi’. No one really comes here except for human tourists meeting their undying fate, however,if you disobey any of their set laws, no need to come to them; they’ll definitely come to you to fix the problem. Aro had been known to create trouble from time to time simply to amuse himself. Why would anyone willingly come to Volterra. It only brings them that much closer to him.

Esme's very own island that Carlisle bought for
one of their many anniversaries. The Cullens spend most of their vacations here in peace, away from the dramatic wolves of Forks. Unless invited no one else is truly welcome here. Then again surprise guests have been known to show up from time to time. Luckily it's a tad difficult to stumble upon without getting noticed.

We simply cannot make a board to cover every destination in the entire world. Fortunately we have the 'Anywhere Else' board. If your character wants to go to Germany then post your threads here. They most certainly can. Never fear you can travel anywhere your little heart desires. Just keep a time frame in mind.
