One night of lust. One night of passion. It’s really all that matters; all that’s needed. But one night, to the right people, can mean a lifetime. For Addison Bridges and Damien Roberts, that one night – graduation night – is their lifetime. She can’t forget him and he can’t forget her. He remembers her smile and she remembers everything about him through the eyes of her eight year old son. He is just like his father, and it hurts her. She doesn’t know how to tell him; doesn’t even expect to run into him again. After all, she is dating John Cuomo and has been for just about eight years now. It seems to be a sure thing for the couple.

Damien has grown up his entire life in the same town. He went to college not far from it even and returned to teach at his once high school. It’s something he never wanted to do when he was younger, but now loves to do it. He’s popular with the high school girls for his looks, but doesn’t care for them. He may be young and single, but he has his eyes set on one that he cannot forget. He dates, gets into relationships, but never one that lasts completely. Never one that fulfills him the way Addison Bridges did eight years before. It doesn’t help that he has a hot intern working for him. He rather hang out with her to pass the time instead of dwelling on thoughts about the past. Besides, it’s better than look at the younger girls that would surely get him into trouble.

Meeting Addison was the best thing to happen to John. He was new to the place as was she and they just clicked; just fit. They started out slow, seeing as Addison was very much pregnant, but what was amazing about their slowly blossoming romance was his strength to be by her side through it all. John became Logan’s dad in a manner of speaking and Addison never thought to push him away. She fell for him and in eight years they have grown very comfortable with each other; perhaps a little too comfortable.

Lacey Parker is an intern at Stoneville High. She’s helping a one Damien Roberts with PE, learning more about the teaching world, and yet, lusting over the man. She holds back as much as she can, not wanting the teenagers to notice she’s acting as if she was still in high school versus being an actual adult, but it proves to be hard sometimes. She has enough alone time with him to make him see she’s interested, but is he?

Kate Parks is new to town. She has opened up a tiny bookstore which gets high reviews quickly. It makes her happy, but she’s lonely. Her love for different sports takes her out to the Friday night football games at the high school and for morning jogs in the park. She needs to find someone, a friend, hopefully a boyfriend, but a friend will do. So when she runs into John at the park one morning, she begins seeing life differently. She may not know him, but she senses something about him.

Returning to her hometown, the last thing Addison expects is to reach the baseball field and see her son sitting next to his father – and not even know it! Baffled, she panics, but as coincidences go, she realizes quickly that she works in the same school with her old lover. Questions arise about her son and his true father, and with those questions there is also the tension between past lovers. Is her love for John enough to push Damien away no matter who he is? Do their lives depend on their past, or is one night just that; one night?

Everyone has a chance in life to make an impression. Lacey made hers with Damien, but Addison’s is stronger. Will her relationship with John push Damien into Lacey’s arms? Will Damien stand back and not fight for what he feels is rightfully his? Will their son take a stand for what he wants or be a child and stay out of adult problems? Will John let his doubting mind and heart put Addison and Logan on the line as he wanders deeper into Kate’s arms? Will any of them find the one moment in their lives that signifies the rest of their lives?
