Jaden Elena Nuñez comes from a household where everyone is reserved, even the dog. She lives very comfortably and just as the majority of her family, is one of those people that pleases everyone and follows every rule to the T. Teachers love her and students hate her. She is an outcast in her own way, and unfortunately for her family, she is ready to change that. All she needs is the help of the right person.

Julian Alexander Steele has lived a troubled life. His parents died in a car accident when he was nine years old and his sister was barely one. Without any other known family around to support them, Julian and his little sister Samantha were sent to foster parents. At first, his life was good. He and his sister were being well cared for and he was doing well in school, but when his sister turned six, he realized something that bothered him very much. Not all was what it seemed to be.

Jaden has watched Julian since middle school, watching him carefully. She was by no means a stalker, but she has been attracted to him ever since she realized boys did not have cooties. All through high school she has been yearning to tell him how she feels; to show someone that she isn’t the innocent little girl that everyone makes her out to be; that she isn’t the perfect little angel. The one person she wants to show more than anyone is Julian, but Jaden knows he’ll laugh at her if she goes anywhere near him.
I always said that I would make mistakes
I'm only human, and that's my saving grace
I fall as hard as I try
So don't be blinded
See me as I really am, I have flaws and sometimes I even sin

Julian’s instincts kicked in at an early age, and without understanding any other way to save his baby sister from the harsh reality of pain and suffering, he caused trouble, making it difficult for any one family to keep them. They were a packaged deal, and it didn’t matter if the family had an overall “good” aspect, if he found something wrong he would revert to his delinquent form and push the family away. He learned to care for her on his own and as far as he is concerned he’s done an amazing job.

Paths crossing in an opportunity so fairy tale like, Julian walks by the auditorium one late afternoon to see Jaden dancing, practicing alone, and in what looks like a carefully devised trick to screw her over, she slips, but he is there to save her. The chance of a lifetime for both of them to make an impression on the other, and equally, they take it. Julian is fighting the courts to live out on his own and care for his sister, but considering his record, it’s a tough battle. Jaden is fighting to be free from her angelic form.

As their lives slowly mesh together, they realize that it was meant to happen; that they connect more than either could have expected. Julian’s plan to get closer to the good girl is working, and she has no clue, but as a series of events begin to unfold, Jaden finds out the truth. Will she help him get what he desperately desires, or will she show him just how “bad” she can be?
