Well I still don't know
Everyone says opposites attract, so what happens when you are best friends with the person that is supposed to be your equal? Where there is nothing about the two of you that is completely opposite? Does the saying “opposites attract” count for friends that have changed in some way? For [???] Anderson and [???] Drake this is definitely questionable. They have been best friends since grade school and are now going into their second year of high school. Already Anderson is quarterback of the JV team, following in his older brother's footsteps. He’s a very good looking guy, and he knows it. He flaunts his good looks, his family name, and his football status around school. Slowly, he is forgetting about the one person that was with him through thick and thin, Drake.

Drake is also on the JV football team, and although he is on the team, he is second string wide receiver. He gets overlooked a lot by his best friend and is even subjected to ridicule from him and the other football members. Drake pushes off their torment and concentrates on his priority – being the youngest captain in their school’s history for the debate team. He takes pride in that club and it’s where he seems really happy. Yet, at the same time, he misses his friend and tries constantly to get him to realize just what football and high school is doing to their eleven year friendship. Will Anderson realize just how far he pushed his friend before it’s too late, or will Drake finally say goodbye to Anderson and their friendship?
