I am a movie freak (how I stumbled upon Devon the great!) and I am huge on filmmaking too. But The funnest thing to do is to sit around and just talk about your favorite movies (at least it is for me) and I thought it might be fun to do it here. Some (only a few) of my favorite movies are....
SLC Punk (matt and dev) Scream (matt) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original and remake) Halloween (Jamie Lee Curtis kicks ass) Halloween H20 (JLC kicks more ass) Chasing Amy (Kevin Smith is awesome) Almost Famous (kate) .......of course I have a million more, but what are some of your guys favorites? |

Yeah I love That '70s Show and Dawson's Creek. But there are so many good shows out there. I'm not one for all the reality shows out there. I'll tune in every now and then to a reality show if it looks interesting. My family likes to watch Big Brother, so I always get sucked into the drama of that show. But I'll take sitcoms over reality. I haven't heard of "The Delinquits" (bad @ spelling that word). Who's in it and what is it about? Oh! I almost forgot! I also LOVE
I Love the '70s I Love the '80s I Love the '80s Strikes back and I Love the '90s I think Hal Sparks is great. Very funny |

Hey Scream,
sorry I don't know Hal Sparks, because I'm from Europe. I just know Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Steve Martin, Mike Myers, Jerry Seinfeld and especiallly Ben Stiller. The most funniest series is "King of Queens" with Kevin James. I love Comedymovies like "Back to the Future". Oh "The Delinquents" is about: A small town in Australia, in the late 1950s: Brownie and Lola are deeply in love. But because they are under-age, their parents are against their relationship and try to separate them. This movie is with Kylie Minogue and Charlie Schlatter. Heres is a pic: ![]() Oh I hate reality shows, here in Germany starts a new reality show named "BIG BROTHER - The Village". It lastet for three days. *itmakesmesick* Tina |

That's cool. Jaws is a good movie for the time. Good for what it was. I really love Halloween though. I think Jamie Lee Curtis is simply one of the bests. The Delinquits sounds interesting. I'll have to check that out sometime. Another Great movie is The Curve with Matthew Lillard. Oh, and I love Without A Paddle, too. But One of the bests, again, is SLC Punk. Matt's performance was amazing, especially at the end. It was a great movie and the director is very good.
other good ones are... Dazed and Confused Fast Times at Ridgemont High I love these movies and bought the new releases of them around December. |

Yeah, Kirsty Ally is pretty cool too. I remember just always knowing who Jamie Lee was ever since I was little. I think the first movie I ever saw her in was My Girl. I think this is the most I've ever talked about her actually...weird. Moving on. Yeah, who doesn't like a lot of movies? Only weirdos don't like movies. Just kidding. Thir13en Ghosts was a good movie too. Certainly a good remake. Speaking of remakes what is up with hollywood lately? Now they're doing House of Wax? With Paris Hilton?! Jeez, if that isn't tagged for failure I don't know what is. And now there is also a remake for The Fog and Prom Night. But get this, Prom Night will be "basically" the same but with different characters and a different title......what is that? I think the problem is that hollywood is running out of good ideas. It's the independant films that are starting to really overrun them. I've always liked Indies. But jeez some of these new hollywood teen movies, it's like 'who gave these people permission to shoot this piece of crap?'. I know I'm ranting, but at least I can get it out there. All I can say is: If they make a Halloween remake...so help me......

Hey Scream,
Oh I Love My Girl. This movie is absolutely great. In February 2004 a very famous cinema magazine here in Germany said that in November 2004 should came a remake of Halloween in cinema near me. I'm still waiting...!!! Yes I totally agree with you, when you say there are no new ideas for new movies. Remakes could be good, but sometimes they are really dissapointed. Oh and a movie with Paris Hilton is awful. Sorry but I don't like this person. Do you know Pet Sematary? Oh I tell you what. I hate this movie. This is the one and only movie which can make me really frightened. When I was nine I saw this movie for the very first time and then a couple of times later. But today No never ever. Yes the first movie I saw with Jamie was My Girl too. So thats it. Tina |

Yeah I saw Pet Semetary when I was younger and it scarred the crap out of me. But I'm pretty sure if I saw it now I really wouldn't care. A new Halloween near you huh? Probably a little sneak peek for the 9th, yep you heard me...9th. It's really dying out. I mean Even the fans expect it to be terrible so way make them? For money obviously. But the profit is ruining the passion. It was a great series. I think it should have just been 1, 2 (it was OKAY), and H20(#7). The second wasn't that great but it shows the continuation of the same night and it wouldn't really make sense watching the first and then jumping to H20 (have to watch and listen to what she says during a fight to fully understand). But oh well. I just picked up That '70s Show season 2! It just came out today and I was really excited, I love that show.

Hey Scream,
sorry I couldn't answer the last days. I was very busy. So: 70s Show: Oh yeah I love this Show. My favourite Episode is the Halloweenepisode with Alfred Hitchcock-Elements. Thats great. The last movie that makes me sad was I am Sam. This Movie is so sad and the story is really great. Dakota Fanning is a good young actress. I will see her new Movie "War of the Worlds". The Trailer was so WOW, I can't really find a word for this. Oh yes it is so amazing. Another great actor is Jordan Brower. He is so cute. I saw him in this Disney Channel series about an Angel named Marty and his best friend Steve. Tina |
