Celeste has always wanted to be in show business. She actually grew up in the Bronx, but being polite and having manners was something her Nana always taught her. Just because she was a little of a tough girl, didn't mean you couldn't say 'thank you'. Celeste was the girl with a baseball cap, grubby jeans, and those plaid shirts on running down the street with neighborhood kids with that 'do you want to fuck with me' attitude. She wasn't a tomboy, but she was a very tough girl that really could associate to 'Scout' in To Kill A Mockingbird. Just an all around independent girl. Which she still is today, even if she is 'married' she can still do what she wants, when she wants, and never really wants to rely on a man for life needs. Of course everyone has their flaws, but Celeste has always been one of the prettier girls in her highschool. She, always was able to find out some things worng with her (like she got a boob job) but overall, she never actually wanted to get into tv personality or anything that promoted her looks. She knew she wasn't ugly, but sometimes she doesn't think she's the prettiest either.
Journalism was something Celeste wanted to get into from the getgo. She knew it would be hard, and she just gravitated herself towards Hollywood where she joined a tabloid magazine her first job before doing a string off odd newspaper and magazine before she landed into a tv station. Even when the going got tough between money, she never gave up. She knows you can't achieve anything sitting around, you have to do something about it. She is all business when you meet her. Anything involving her job, her company, or anything that has a proposition, she is all business. She has views and she is not afraid to say what she thinks of your pitch. She knows business is money and wasting time is wasting the money. She has quite the head on her shoulders and sometimes her intelligence throws some people off from her looks. This is one triat she was not born with. Thsi came over time and her climb on the television empire. She met a lot of people that didn't 'feel' her, she was too 'New York' for them. She had to loose the 'tough girl, i represent new york, yo' vibe she gave. It took a while but she broke that down [though it stilli isn't entirely gone] and accidently started acting like a lot of her Los Angeles rich friends who only associated with people they wanted to and not giving many people their time of day.
So when's she not running around in hand-me down plaid shirts, not building an empire, or toughen it up with her new yorker accent, she can be a pretty normal twenty five year old. She hangs with her friends when she has time off. She loves to write. When she's not busy [which isn't very often] she loves to write. She was afterall involved in journalism before becoming a tv personality. She has alaready accomplished so much being so young, and sometimes she misses being a twenty five year old versus a twenty five years old have to be thirty five making big decisions.

. born in a rough neighborhood in the Bronx, but was always inspired to get out, get famous, and get rich . socialized with all the neighborhood kids and even 'faked interviewed' them for tv shows. she didn't play 'school' she played 'interview' . in middle school she joined the newspaper and enjoyed writing stories for around the school . thought highschool was big stuff and she tried real hard to be in the top percent in her class, which wasn't hard when kids were constantly dropping out or getting killed. . had always been really smart [even if she never showed it as a kid] so she ended up graduating early at seventeen from highschool and got out of new york and with money saved up, she moved to Los Angeles and went to school at California State in LA where she majored in English . Celeste started working at an LA tabloid where she was just a gopher girl. Nothing at all impressive or paid well . After a semester and a half there, she became an assisstant to the assisstant of a sports editor for the LA Times. She was still young but people were impressed by her dedication and did the job fully . She stayed at the LA Times until her junior year of college where she then job shadowed a anchorman at a local news station for the evening news This wasn't her choice but after hardly being able to write, she started taking an interest and being commerical and being more personality for tvs than the writer behind the pages of the paper . She continued to work under the anchorman even after she graduated from California State but left quickly when he tried to get romantically involved with her . Sadly though, a key grip saw him hit on her and well, that was in the news for a couple days giving Celeste her first taste of fame, even if it was less than fifteen minutes . But, she had an impressive resume and found herself at TV Guide. She had the looks, the drive, the burning questions. With TV Guide, she started becoming an overnight success . At twenty-one she was on the red carpet of the Oscars interviewing A-list celebs. She was extrememly likeable, she was fun, she had personality, the camera loved her, and people started liking her too . She continued to do interviews for TV Guide and even guest co-hosted Entertainment Tonight when one of the hosts was out of maternity leave. . She continued to stay in entertainment news for a couple years, that was until the reality tv show business just boomed and producers offered her a job she just couldn't refuse . Producers asked her to be a co-host in the coveted American Idol hosting gig which of course she happily agreed . That was where she met her future husband, Milo Kennings, who had been paired with her as the other co-host . The spent a lot of time together promoting the show and hosting it, and eventually they did fall for each other . For the show, they were subtle of any romance, but they were definitely a couple off-screen . He ended up proposing to her, on national television, during one of the result shows for American Idol. Of course she said yes and they became an overnight power couple . She married him when she was twenty four, [it was a big grand affair in Hollywood and People Magazine naturally photoed the wedding] and they both quit the AI gig before the new season started and opened up their new entertainment company . Together they continued to host reality TV shows together and making new reality tv shows for America . But, something defeinietly happened between the two that was not good at all. They slowly grew apart, but remained married for the image and the name . It's hard to say exactly how they are right now. They've fallen out of love and there are times when they can't stand each other, but for their million dollar company, they still work together, because things could get nasty if they were to get a divorce . Their latest creation is 'The Divorcees' a reality show of ex husbands and wives on one tv show. Which, could be considered ironic for Celeste and Milo because they're suppose to represent the 'married couple' when they could easily be on of the contestants. . Isn't quite sure how the TV show is going to go out, especially the cameras because her and Milo have to pretend to be so inl love for TV, but what would happen if they got an awkward moment?

It was dark outside, lights illuminating the stone walkway. Small, light posts lined the pathways around the chateau. The shot looked great, and Celeste Kennings looked gorgeous in a mini black dress with her hand crossed across her chest as the make-up artist was finishing her touches to make sure the redhead wouldn't have a shiny forehead on camera. The producer was telling yelling at people behind sett and urged the make-up artist to hurry up. Celeste of course knew what to do. She was introducing the plot of the new show the was sure to get buzzed about. How her husband and her were able to think of such a twisted play on poor divorcees was beyond her but it was going to be a hit. She knew one when she put some heart into it.
"Celeste, are you ready?" The director asked as the make-up artist scurried out of view and blended in with other crew members necessary to be behind camera for such a simple monolouge. "Yeah. she said as she stood at the marker on the ground and looked into the camera ready for her cue. "Quiet, quiet on set! .... Action!" Her cue was called and a hand motion was seen and Celeste started smiling and the words came out easier than being in a conversation with a friend, "I'm Celeste Kennings, and I am here, outside a beautiful chateau outside of Paris, France. We are about to begin a reality dating show like none other. We decieved eight women and eight men into thinking they are going to be competing in a dating show like 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette.' But these eight pairs of women and men have more in common than you think.
"The eight pairs are actually ex husbands and ex wives divorced from each other for reasons you will find out later from them yourself. Right now, limos are picking up the sixteen clueless people in hope to find love again, but will soon be face to face with the ex-spouses here, at the chateau for a revealing show on national televisions. Will a pair get back together, or will some only become further apart? You'll find out on this season of 'The Divorcees'." Celeste continued to smile until the director yelled, "Cut! Beautiful, Celeste." and she relaxed a little bit as someone brought her a jacket and her asisstant started pushing her towards a trailer where she was goiing to change into another dress for the opening ceremony where eight guys thought they were going to be competeing for her heart. Well, they were in for a surprise.
