General Guidelines- Factions currently not accepting new applicants: N/A. All factions are open and accepting new characters.
- Please leave the base coding and structure of the Character Application alone. You are allowed to add more information to it if you wish.
- Use Wookieepedia as your source of information.
- As many species have not yet been encountered in our timeline any species described on Wookieepedia as isolationist or existing centuries after 3,000 BBY they will be ineligible for play on Sithspawn. Among these are Chiss, Vong, Ewoks, and Dathomiri Witches.
- In order to play a species with an extraordinary racial trait, such as shapeshifting abilities, sentient crystals, or a droid, a member needs to bring up the matter with a member of staff for evaluation. If you are unsure, enquire with a staff member for advice on the matter. "Vampire" type species that drain life-force are not permitted.
- No character can be a hybrid of two separate species. However, near human species with close genetic basis to humans, such as Lorrdian’s, can cross with ordinary humans.
Spaceships- Most characters will not be allowed to start with any ship bigger than a light freighter. Anyone who wants a ship other than a freighter must have a rank in a military faction which would allow them to have such a ship, in addition to permission from the appropriate faction leader(s).
- You can modify some features of a ship you start off with, mostly aesthetics, smuggler compartments, and a pool if you can justify using the space for it, but no weaponry can be added beyond the stated specs on Wookieepedia.
- If you decide to not have a spaceship, you are permitted to have two additional starting items, bringing the total up to five.
Weaponry- Your character may start with two ordinary weapons or one lightweapon for Knights and Masters of the Jedi Order and Champions and Triumvirate of the Cult of Sadow.
- The above rule also applies to Sith swords. Their power is equal to a lightweapon.
- No modified weapons.
- It is not permitted to have hidden internal weaponry in your characters various cybernetic limbs, and especially not organic limbs. Cybernetics that are weapons themselves are permitted if there is basis for it on Wookieepedia.
Rankings- You can choose freely what rank you want to have. The staff will judge whether or not your character deserves the requested rank based on the strength of your application.
- The character's experience must fit the rank he or she has.
Force Users- Force users must insert this addition to their applications.
- All Force users with the capability and training to wield the Force with any efficiency are required to be a part of the Jedi Order or Cult factions in the application process. It is possible to disagree with factions policies and leave.
- Jedi must remember that by the age of 13 if a Jedi has not been selected to be another Jedi's Padawan they will sent out of the Order to serve in the Agri Corps, Med Corps, or Exploration corps.
- Jedi are chosen at a very young age, we have decreed 4 years as the maximum age for a child to be taken into training.
- Keep in mind that the Sith are extinct and any Sith secrets are in the hands of the Cult.
- The ranks of Initiate and Padawan of the Jedi Order and Hopeful and Cultist of the Cult of Sadow automatically start out with the item Lightsabre Components and are not allowed to have a lightsabre beyond a training lightsabre as they must construct their own lightsabre as one of their trials. This does not count towards your three item limit.
NPC's- A NPC must have the same faction as the one controlling them.
- Most NPC's will exist because they have specific functions to fulfill. NPC's with small roles don't need to be registered as an NPC, but if you plan on using an NPC for a plot or having that NPC for a companion it has to have an NPC application accompanying it.
Staff will respond to applications as soon as time permits. If they have any issues with the application they will suggest improvements or mistakes as a response to the thread. Changes may be as simple as the removal of an unavailable item or a history fact is in opposition to established Sithspawn canon. When creating NPC characters, use the same template, but you are not required to go into much detail. A RP sample is not required of NPC or from members who have previously made characters. Members with characters creating a new character of high rank will be required to include an original RP sample.
