Skills:- Advanced ranged training: A former officer in the Corellian military, Wes has extensive experience with various types of firearms, from blasters to slugthrowers. He is something of an excellent marksman with his S-5 pistol, his aim unerring and steady. Among his peers in the starfighter corps, he was considered the best blaster marksman. With his decades of combat experience, his skill has not wavered.
- Advanced CQC training: Like his ranged training, this was mandatory in the Corellian armed forces. As a diligent student in both theory and practice, Wes did not allow himself to slack in any area. His extensive skills have only increased in proficiency as he went from the starfighter corps, to the intelligence divison, and then finally as a smuggler and founder of the Alliance.
- Efficient in melee combat: While he is trained with various blunt and bladed weapons, Wes never favoured it, believing that any time he did not have a blaster in hand would mean that he could merely resort to his abilities in hand-to-hand. It did not go neglected, however, as Wes would never allow any skill to deteriorate if he could have future use of it.
- Ace Pilot: Having served in the Corellian Starfighter corps during the Republic-Confederate war, Wes had attained the title of ace among pilots a long time ago, and keeps it with style. He has never let his skills in the cockpit lapse, finding that flying is the only thing that truly gives him peace in a galaxy thrown into turmoil.
- Mimicry and Kinetic Communication: Being from a Lorrdian family, Wes has received training from he was a child in mimicry techniques and the unique kinetic communication method of the Lorrdian society. As an Intelligence operative, he uses it extensively, able to see the unsaid in others body language, and hide his own tells, as well as use the mimicry to his advantage.
- Slicer: While he started slicing as a child, mainly self-taught, Wes' skills have expanded and become more refined over the years. His switch from the starfighter corps to the intelligence division of the Corellian armed forces necessitated proper tutelage from professionals, and now he's a capable and experienced slicer.
- Speaks Bocce, Durese, High Galactic, Huttese, Olys Corellisi and Rodese.
- Understands Binary, Dosh, Shyriiwook and several other minor alien languages.

Additional InformationPersonality: The Wes today is drastically changed from how he acted as a young man. The customary jokes and casual flirting is replaced by something more serious, but he still manages to act like his old self at times, the moments are becoming rarer and rarer however. He carries delusions that he’s just like he was before, but there are moments where he realises that everything has changed, and he can grow moody. He hates the feeling of being old that comes over him at those times.
Despite having changed, he is still the happy-go-lucky guy that used to joke around with his fellow pilots, he just is careful to keep his mind on the rest of the galaxy at the same time. He finds the duties that come with the rank of Director of Intelligence taxing, as he was never one for secrets, but when it comes down to it, he feels that the position gives him more freedom than if he’d been a Grand Admiral or Marshal, and he, above all, enjoys the little freedom he has.
Wes has an unhealthy obsession with the Confederation, not uncommon in the ranks of the Alliance. When it comes to talk about the galaxy and recent events, his mind goes immediately to the Confederation. He might not say it all the time, but his mind is ever aware of the looming threat they present to the Alliance and all free people in the galaxy. He knows this is a major flaw in his thinking, as he finds it annoying that he seems set on thinking about them all the time.
History: Wes grew up in a shady neighbourhood of Coronet, well into the Blue Sector. Growing up among criminals, he learned their techniques and ways of life, using the colourful characters to exercise his Lorrdian skills, passed on to him from his father. His family eventually moved out, his mother stricking gold with her own company and soon they were living with ease, but past experiences didn't fade. His brothers got into trouble with a few shady criminals from the Blue Sector, and as a result, all of them were sent to the nearby military Academy on Tralus, even if Wes hadn't been involved.
He struggled against his parents decision, refusing to become a military pawn, as he’d never considered joining nor did he want to join, but his protests went ignored. With little choice, he eventually went along with it, albeit swearing to give everyone a hard time, that was against his nature however. Wes quickly developed a grudge towards his brothers because of this, they’d landed him in this position he didn’t want to be in.
One brother, Athan, signed up for the ground forces, while the other, March, went into Starfleet Corps. Wes went into Starfighter Corps. As the brothers went through training and education, they grew distant, especially Wes, as he blamed his brothers for being stuck in the military. His time in the academy wasn't a good time for him. Collecting no friends, and keeping his mind on studying, he was a loner. The promise of giving people a hard time was forgotten and he lapsed into a quiet period of thinking for himself. His behaviour ended up getting him identified as future material for intelligence, but he refused their offer, preferring to continue in Starfleet Command.
When he went into active service everything turned to the better for him. Without his brothers and the constant studying hanging over him he returned to his usual merry ways, and soon collected a fair amount of friends in his assigned squadron and beyond. He quickly became known as a flirt and a prankster, and his tendency to lighten the mood became important when the long awaited assault from the Confederation came.
This led to hard times for the Corellian starfleet and starfighter command, as they were the main defence, luckily the asteroid fields aided them the same way it had aided them against the Coruscantian dictator centuries ago. When it looked like the constant pounding from the Confederation's forces would never end, the military leaders collected together a group of outstanding soldiers, and Wes was among them, along with his brother Athan, a group trained in insertion techniques. They received additional intelligence training and were labeled as a part of a covert operation.
Deciding to bury his resentment once and for all, he didn't let his former personal feelings get in the way of the missions they were sent on, even if they had their occasional spat. Going on several covert missions, the new group doubled as both a fighter squadron and a group of commandos. After an especially taxing mission, where it had been close to being scrubbed, the two brothers returned to hear that their other brother’s ship had been shot down, and the bridge turned to slag.
Although the initial reaction was to mourn, the other brother lashed out at Wes, bringing up the fact that Wes had severed all contacts and telling Wes he now wouldn't have a chance of seeing March ever again, to apologise for his selfish and childish actions. This sparked another argument, which ended up with them exchanging blows; their squadmates had to drag them apart before a commanding officer walked in on them.
Then everything became tense, but on a mission, the last for the squadron, his brother perished in battle, along with a large portion of the rest of the squad. Their mission had been to infiltrate Dolomar, a mission that failed horribly. Athan had been in charge of that, but someone within the squadron tattled and it went south. Athan was a casualty earlier on, but a team mate managed to get his body to the safehouse, where Wes realised how stupid he'd been for ignoring his brothers, but now was not the time for mourning, the Confederation had found out about their operation, it was scrubbed and they had to get out. The journey out was hard, and most of them died before even reaching their extraction point. Wes suspected that the spy had been killed in the escape.
He was returned to Starfighter Command after the specialized squadron was decommissioned, and soon after Corellia received a small victory over the skies of Coruscant, not a small thanks to Wes and the rest of the squadron he had worked with.
The future years were filled with battle, but Wes was weary of it, due to his brothers deaths, and he signed up for Intelligence, knowing his skill within the area of infiltration and convert tactics would be helpful for Corellia, especially now that they had to keep and eye out for any more attacks from the Confederation. Items left for him by his brothers surprised him when he returned to Coronet, Athan had left him his S-5 Heavy Blaster Pistol, and March his pet tailring.
Wes was among those who fled the planet when Dolomar moved in for the final assault, he had no desire of serving the enemy that had been their ally and then turned on them. He adopted an assumed name, Eldar Sercess, and turned his attention to smuggling, and being a general pain for the Confederation of Dolomar. Eventually he got in connection with others who deserted Corellia as the Confederation struck, and he brought up the idea of forming a rebellion to fight them. So, along with the other rebels, he formed the Alliance of Free Planets. The Alliance now has grown to a size he'd formerly only dreamt of, but he sees eventual victory is possible.
