Clothing Outline: His usual gear includes sturdy boots, simple rough nerfhide gloves, a long oilcoat, brown trousers and an off white shirt, very simplistic and in the style of the Morellian Enforcers. However, he is mostly found in uniform, as he has little else on the agenda other than flying missions and hanging around at his assigned post. His flightsuit is a dark green, different from the standard Confederation colours, merely because he dislikes the uniformity of everyone wearing the same drab colours of black.
Face Outline: His face is aged, but despite his 117 years of living, he merely looks around his forties. His hair has suffered little over the years, as he still retains most of its natural colour apart from a gentle greying at the temples. His eyes are the only true signs of his age, as they belie the true nature of how long he’s been living in the known galaxy, but despite this, the merry hazel eyes haven’t lost their faithful outlook on the galaxy.
Body Outline: Despite his age, he has kept up with his training, keeping himself on his toes and in the best of condition. He does not suffer the physical erosion that many near his age have, and much like how he looks barely beyond his forties, his body mimics that.

• Advanced combat training: Having gone through Republic and Confederation training regimens, as well as his training in the Morellian Enforcers, there's little Algy doesn’t know about combat and all that includes it.
• Advanced weapons training: In line with his combat training, Algy knows a great variety of weapons and how to wield them with years of experience to back him up. He favours his Morellian .48 Enforcer and Force pike, but dabbles in anything he can get his hands on.
• Advanced survival training: An avid explorer, Algy has always been interested in the remote areas of the galaxy, undergoing survival training eagerly in order to learn how to survive and explore the various hostile environment that the galaxy has on offer. In this he is the veritable expert in the squadron, with half a century of experience making him the go to guy for survival tips.
• Ace pilot: Over 50 years of experience as a starfighter pilot has honed Algy into a deadly weapon in the cockpit. He’s seen it all, heard it all, and is surprised by nothing. He knows the fatality rates of pilots and accepts them, looks death in the face in each engagement and treats it with the respect it deserves. He doesn’t underestimate his opponent, and respects friendly and hostile pilots equally.
• Educated mechanic: As a university educated engineer and mechanic, Algy is properly licensed to repair and build various types of machinery. He’s intimately familiar with the innards of several different types of machinery, especially starships, having blown enough up to know how to put them back together again.
• Moderate knowledge of explosives: From his work as an Enforcer and long membership in a commando squadron, he knows what to do and what not to do, the intricacies of rigging explosives easy for him to understand thanks to his background in engineering. While he’s no expert, he can act as a hasty replacement should the squadron’s demolitions expert be unavailable.
• Moderate slicing skills: Like his demo knowledge, his slicing skill comes from a blend of Enforcer experience and commando operations, he understands the rough basics of the skill and able to slice open doors and hack into computers should it be asked of him. He’s an adequate replacement for the squadron’s slicer, but is in no way suited for advanced slicing tactics.
• Historic knowledge: From his time at the university, Algy has built up a base knowledge of the history of the universe and the organisations in it. He understands how things came to be and how things are likely to continue, using this knowledge to help him guide his fellow squadmates whenever they ask it of him.
• Knowledge of flora and fauna: Also from his university studies, as well as his survival training, Algy can identify the various organic life forms that inhabit both extensively settled and wilder planets, using it to enhance and enrich his survival training and adventuring habits.

Additional Information
Personality: Algy is a passionate, fun-loving, committed man who would rather be where he is than anywhere else. He enjoys the life he’s led up to now, with no regrets on how the past has gone. For a large period in his life, the only thing he knew was life in military service or another form for combat unit and at the start used the strategy of distancing himself from his fellow comrades in the event that any engagement might kill them. However, this failed horribly, for while he isn’t the most social of beings, those he worked with managed to get under his skin and pull him into their midst. They’d said resistance was futile, apparently they were correct. Now he is still something of a loner, but he doesn’t purposefully distance himself from his unit.

When it comes down to it, Algy is a rather reckless individual and as such had little respect for odds and has been described as so egotistical, he thinks he can keep his ego under control. His single saving grace being that most of the time when he does indulge his ego as a pilot and in the field, it tends to be his enemies, not he or his friends, who suffer for it. It is a proven fact that he is quite different in the cockpit and on military assignments, capable of unpredictable actions that have kept him alive through many engagements.

He takes a loss of a fellow comrade very hard, but this never really shows until he’s on his own and has time to sort out his thoughts alone. He does have survivor guilt, and he is well aware of that fact. When he’s in a rational mindset, he acknowledges that he is not to blame for deaths in past situations, but he’s known to grow broody when in a not entirely lucid mindset, thinking about past comrades and unfortunate events.

While his true nature is that of a fighter, hidden within his personality there lays a scholar. One that truly thinks that knowledge of the galaxy is the solution to most things. He rarely exercises his knowledge unless forced however, as he prefers to keep a lid on that part of his personality. He has no desire to be labelled a know it all, despite the fact that it wouldn’t bother him the slightest. He is something of a philosopher as well, and this shines through more than his scholar self. More than often, he can be found musing on some obscure matter or another. He is intrigued by human nature and wants to understand them. He has no desire to become something of a shrink however, so he doesn’t actively seek out knowledge, merely dwells on what he sees first hand.

History: Algy was born on Morellia, the homeworld of the Morellians. His youth was uneventful, being a normal boy in a normal working class family. In his early years at school he had the normal trouble every child goes through, and as he grew older he increasingly became discontent with the life he led. It was terribly dull, not a life he would want to lead. He, as many others, longer for a life filled with more events than the normal person experienced. As a result he enrolled in the Morellian Enforcers when he was old enough, learning most of his combat knowledge from them. This is also where he acquired his Morellian .48 Enforcer.

He served them for a decade, before moving on to serve the Republic as a scout, functioning often as a soldier and a pilot as well. He considered himself a multi-purpose fighter and spent two decades serving the Republic, before “retiring” and then attending a technical university on Corellia, taking several other lessons away from his chosen main subject. He enjoyed his life as a student, learnt a lot within the workings of technical things and the various flora and fauna of the galaxy, along with a small class that went into the subject of galactic history.

Eventually he developed a reputation as something of an eternal student, seemingly dedicating himself to a life of endless study and learning. That, however, was not his true calling. His seemingly thirst for knowledge was a way of distracting him from what he dwelt on all the time, being out on the frontiers and fighting for a cause. He knew however that he couldn’t and wouldn’t become an ‘old war dog’, not while he was still fairly young, from a Morellian point of view.

When his studies came to an end, he remained on Corellia, working as a mechanic for a shipping company, gaining practical knowledge within what he’d educated himself in. During that time, he met a Corellian woman who caught his attention quite effectively. She was a spacer, who rarely remained in one spot. She found him interesting in return, however, he never told her about his longevity. After a few years, they grew close, until finally they married. More on impulse than anything else, and none of them had planned to marry during their lifetime. However, after ten years happily married, his wife was shot down by a group of mercenaries working for a Hutt she’d done some work with. He was stricken with grief, but knew that sooner or later she would’ve died before him anyway. He still had a long way to go in his life, while hers was considerably shorter.

After her death, he moved away from Corellia, once again enrolling in the ranks of the Republic, this time as a pilot. He came to love working as a pilot, finding spaceships and the things involved in them utterly fascinating. This work helped him put his dead wife behind him, and he came to accept her premature death and he holds no regrets for what they had together. He remained a pilot in the Republic until a decade before the fall, returning to Morellia to once again work with the Enforcers.

As the Confederation rose, Algy remained with the Morellian Enforcers, keeping out of the whole spectacle. He had no opinions on which sides were ‘right’ and which sides were ‘wrong’; he merely had issues with how the business was being conducted. It was bold and arrogant of the Confederation to do such a bold move, not bad traits in themselves, but a lot of lives were lost because they failed to find a more efficient way to go about their business. Such was war, however, and he didn’t have any qualms about it. The Republic had conquered many planets; it was only natural that someone should conquer the Republic.

After the Confederation surviving for a decade, Algy decided that the Enforcers were growing too small for him. They confined themselves to their home system and the immediate areas around it. He was one for a wider view than that. Joining the Starfighter Corps of the Confederation, he settled in to continue fighting. He initially knew little of how the Confederation was as a faction, merely rumours and the stuff that were considered Alliance propaganda. While he didn’t have any real issue against the Alliance, he preferred an official path rather than the path of an outlaw.
