Character of the Month

Tristanian Pax
"Whenever Tristanian is pushed into even the most ridiculous of circumstances he always finds some way to make the event hard to forget. Despite having a past riddled with pain and loss, this character still manages to be highly sarcastic and humorous, while remaining one of the most intelligent members of the Cult. It went from being a ripped-up second-rate app, to one of the most magnificently written characters that Sithspawn has. Even then he has still managed to stay in the realms of a ‘bad guy’ while balancing it out with a logic that has made him a very formidable threat to any member who is brave or stupid enough to face him."
"I’ve always been of the opinion that being evil is no excuse to be rude." - The Devil Takes The Hindmost

Corellia Corellia's surface is extremely temperate, dominated by rolling hills, thick forests, lush farmland, golden beaches, and large seas. With most of its famed manufacturing centers lifted into orbit, the planet remaines largely rural and undeveloped, with small villages and farming communities comprising the bulk of urban development. The largest cities are Coronet—the planetary capital, the tourist haven of Kor Vella, the double-city Tyrena, and the mountain hamlets of Doaba Guerfel and Bela Vistal. Space above Corellia is dominated by massive shipyards.

Coruscant The entire surface of Coruscant has been covered over throughout the thousands of generations of galactic history by sprawling mile-high skyscrapers and cities, and boasting a population of over a hundred billion to several trillion, depending on the era. These skyscrapers dwarf all the original natural features including mountains and now dry bodies of oceans which once covered a large proportion of Coruscant's surface. Areas of Galactic City are broken up into levels, megablocks, blocks, and subblocks. Below the skyscrapers you could find Coruscant's undercity, where sunlight never reached. Artificial lighting illuminated these lower levels and advertisement holograms could be seen everywhere. There are numerous establishments for entertainment, catering to a myriad of alien species.

Manaan The second planet in the Pyrshak system, Manaan is the oceanic homeworld of the Selkath species. Since bacta replaced kolto as the 'healing juice' of choice in the galaxy, Manaan has fallen off the radar completely as far as politics are concerned. Covered by a world-spanning ocean, the only surface settlement is the long abandoned Ahto City.

Onderon One of three planets in the Japreal system, Onderon has a temperate climate, and was once home to a primitive race of humanoids. Like many other fringe worlds, the Onderonians have a distrust of aliens. It has four moons. Dxun, the primary moon, once orbited very close to the planet, allowing some of the same atmosphere to be shared between the planet and its moon.

Shedu Maad The planet Shedu Maad is one of the sixty-three worlds controlled by the Hapes Consortium, hidden from the rest of the galaxy by the Transitory Mists. This thinly-populated mining world is virtually unknown outside the Hapes Cluster, due both to the navigational hazards posed by the Mists as well as the isolationist policies of the Consortium. The Hapan people are known to be anything but welcoming to outsiders. Control: Jedi Order

Nar Shaddaa Commonly known as the Smugglers Moon; Nar Shaddaa is a mini version of Coruscant, just filthier. The scum and lowlifes of the galaxy keep their main base here and the streets are filled with beggars and poor people who had the unfortunate pleasure to meet a beast in the lower levels, or the business end of someone's blaster.

Bespin Bespin, like most gas giants, it has a solid core made of metal followed by layers of metallic gasses. Most of the layers of gas are poisonous, but from approximately 150 to 180 kilometers down from space there is a habitable layer known as the Bespin Life Zone. This layer has an oxygen atmosphere with the temperature and pressure that makes it ideal for human life. In this layer there can be found several Confederation military bases as well as corporate mining facilities. There exists one major city among these floating facilities, the only one that has a flourishing tourism industry. Beryl was established by Beraal the Hutt, but is a completely legal venture.

Korriban Due to the planet's harsh terrain (or the power of the Dark Side), Korriban's native fauna was both vicious and cunning (ie. terentateks). The bat-like Shyracks lived in great numbers in caves on the planet. Tuk'ata hounds were also fairly common. Dark side dragons, or Hssiss, were also found on Korriban, though as semi-aquatic creatures, they were quite rare.

Sevarcos II Sevarcos is dry and rugged, the landscape in shades of brown and amber due to the light of the planet's orange sun Lumea. The southern hemisphere is extremely dry and covered with vast deserts, while the northern hemisphere is mountainous. Around the equator, the landscape consists of vast plains. The planet has harsh winds, which cause many sandstorms in the southern areas. Temperature-wise, it is unbearably hot during the days, while cool at nighttime.

Taris Taris is an urban planet in the Outer Rim Territories. It is built up in much the same way as Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa are built up. The upper levels are magnificent and pristine, whilst the lower levels rot in filth and decay. They are also frequently plagued by gang warfare.

Telos Telos IV, often called simply Telos, is a world located on the Outer Rim of the galaxy and situated on the Hydian Way hyperroute. The world held a strategic position within the edge of Galactic Republic space and, as early as 4,000 BBY, played host to the Agricultural Corps, where Jedi who failed their training were sent to work as farmers and laborers. During the early part of the Jedi Civil War, its surface was devastated by Sith forces. Today the surface has been fully rebuilt, and it's appearance is similar to the Telos before the Sith attack, if a bit more industrialised.

Ziost Ziost is a world made up entirely of an ancient dark forest. Not only is it a focal point of the dark side, but it was also the adopted homeworld and imperial capital of the Sith species for a time. Many ancient and evil secrets still remain on this place of great dark power.

Ilum The planet Ilum won't appear on most navigation charts, but its importance to the Jedi is impossible to deny. Ilum is the primary source of the rare crystals that Jedi use to focus the energy contained in their lightsabers. When it is time to construct a personal lightsaber, a Jedi Master takes his or her Padawan to this icy planet. There, they face the bitter cold, dangerous ice peaks and huge local predators called gorgodons.
