cellphones are an essential piece of equipment for everyone these days. if you don't have one, where the heck have you been?

the teenagers of darkness falls are all bound to have one and probably the adults too. whether its for discussing the latest news, gossip or homework, it's probably the most popular medium of communication. cause lets face it, who actually TALKS anymore?

the town halls' probably one of the most important areas in the whole town, and where you need to come for all your administrative needs. if you need a new business license, want to argue your case against an unfair parking ticket, or need to get a marriage license? there's a department for all of that in here!

darkness falls doesn't anticipate much bother for its residents, but all the same, doesn't it give you peace of mind to know the police are about?

it's not big enough for a full hospital; that's positioned a little way out of town; but all the same, darkness falls needs somewhere for it's overdramatic old folks to come and complain away their days. the emergency clinic's open 24-7 so if you're sick or injured in the middle of the night, you won't have far to come!

catholicism seems to be a dying faith these days, and some may not be surprised at this. despite corrupt morals and sleazy gossip, the residents of darkness falls would still die to protect their ancient church.

from kindergarten through to sixth grade, this is the place you'll spend your days. relish each day as it comes; it only gets harder from here!

for six hours a day, five days a week, everyone between the ages of 12 and 18 will be hidden away in here with their books. well, at least, you'd hope so!

the dedicated students or devoted bookworms amongst you might know what this place is all about; books, journals, articles and internet access! you can check out four books at a time, but make sure you return them; the fines aren't nice!

once a haven for abused and orphaned children, vauxhall house was burned down in the early eighties. now, it's just a ruined building with boarded-up windows and 'danger' signs about the place... doesn't stop the aa-evp team wanting to investigate, nor local kids wanting to go for a look around the supposed haunted building.

the main part of darkness falls, designed to look like a grid from above. here you can find the financial district, the theatre district and little italy, amongst others.

a quaint little park situated in the centre of town. it's surrounded on one side by shops, on two by apartment buildings and the fourth by a vast lake, which the town was built around.

every teenage girl's favourite place to come... but the mall's not just for shopping. darkness falls mall has something for everyone; a bingo hall, a coffee house, a cinema...

okay, well not quite, but most of the places here do only get visited after a hard day's work, when the sun's going down.

looking for a good restaurant to take your special lady out to? or maybe you just wnat to grab a bite to eat on the way through town? either way, if it's food-based, this is the place you'll find it.

this upperclass area boasts two or three storey houses, with upwards of three bedrooms and sometimes more bathrooms than residents. gardens galore, two cars in every garage and the occasional lush blue swimming pool... it's nice on this side of the town!

this part of town is for the more middle-class residents with average houses and bungalows up for sale.

named after the town's first mayor, back in the 1500s, trevaliant strip used to be one of the best residential areas in town. now it's luxury apartment blocks and standalone houses have fallen into disrepair and been turned into boarding houses, hotels and cheap apartments by the money-hungry.

darkness falls' hospital is only for emergency purposes. if you need intensive care, operations or long-winded treatment, you'll probably end up on one of the wards here, in nearby metropolis. but don't worry, it's not too far from home.

metropolis is the nearest big city to the small town of darkness falls, and it's new university campus on the far side of the town is it's latest attraction. most of the darkness falls high school graduates wind up here, but it also welcomes students from far and wide, all across america. what will you study?

so we all know rpings about the in-character action, but that's not to say you're allowed to neglect your ooc self! find a plethora of things to do right in here.
