Yes well...I didn't put the story into much thought and figured that it taking place after Jack's arrival wasn't workable. Since all the cool audio diarys would be gone and everything in a much more WORSE state than when Jack found it.

So the question is, what should the basic storyline that brings the hopeless accident prone victims to Rapture?

Do all good websites need an amazing, origional, epic prologue?
I'd think a simple, 'you've turned up here, survive and continue' would do, like the plane crash still happenening, just with different passengers aboard. Of course that's my own opinion, and you might think otherwise.

Perhaps it should take place almost directly after the war, so Adam is still very abundant and splicers haven't yet degraded into absolute insanity. From there you could create a proto-storyline; which almost leads up to the arrival.

Or you could always do it before... Jack's appearance? That would mean there would also be more sane people (hopefully) at the place and that way you could add more plot twists if you wanted to. Plus Adam would be more than easily obtained then.

You could always have "more" of those audio diaries then too - as they wouldn't have been picked up by curious Jack.

The storyline could be that the rumours of the war starting so certain people run away to Rapture in seek of a safe place. Of course the brochure forgot to add that most people are turning insane / mutating because of plasmids and slaughtering one another.

Could make it even bloodier than Bioshock, seeing as there will be more people alive, and trying to survive. The longer occupants stay there, the more violent, insane it gets.

But whatever, that's my two cents.
