/ / RULES OF THE MAGICAL WORLD
+ glamour. the ability to cloak one's true form. glamour can make you appear taller, skinnier, prettier - or, if you prefer, uglier. most fey use their glamour to blend in with humans, or to impersonate another fey. although their disguise is hidden from those who have no experience with disguises; there are two draw-backs. always, no exceptions, there is a hint at their true form. whether it be yellow eyes, a greenish tint to the skin, or even the angled features of their bone structure, a part of their fey nature is always present. second; those with true sight are able to see them for what they really are. humans and fey alike can choose to see them as their fey or glamoured form. (humans: no choice. fey: choice. a special lense is shifted over their eyes to see the fey form) + true name. each fey, from birth, is gifted with a "true name". someone with the knowledge of their opponent's true name has unyeilding power over them. for example, if i were to say "(his true name), jump of a bridge", our unlucky man would have to do it. no questions, he i bound by magic to do so. no willpower in the world could make him stop, only delay the inevitable. for example, he could walk, not run, to the nearest bridge. for this reason, the fey keep their true names as their deepest, darkest secrets.
