Administrator Group: Admin Posts: 56 Member No.: 1 Joined: 27-January 05	Which one do you like more? I love all the Harry Potter books, in fact the only books I read that don't have to do with school (once each though, don't wanna overdo it, lol.) Lord of the Rings, has a lot of slow scenes, and was a bore to read through it... and then write a report for english.

Veteran Group: Members Posts: 61 Member No.: 7 Joined: 29-January 05	I like HP, I read the LOTR in 4th grade and it took me 3 million years. At first it was cool, nice and fast, but then towards the middle of the book, like nothing happens. That was when I got bored.

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Member No.: 18 Joined: 13-March 06	Not even a contest. Lord Of The Rings by a mile, the battles are thrilling and exciting. The plot trudges along a good pace and the characters are very well developed. Harry Potter on the other hand was pretty boring and dragged. JKR gets sloppy in places and the books weren't anything special in my opinion. But each to there own.
