This has been in the works for a while now. Some of you know about it, some of you don't, though there's only a handful of you that know why Propaganda is being relocated to another site.

I'm tired of dealing with bullshit.
Yes, I am perfectly well aware that there will be my fair share of bullshit with whatever site I manage. Yes, I have tried to eliminate the caked on shit multiple times, but it was a fruitless attempt. Yes, I am aware that I may grow to feel the same way about the new site. However, I have strong feeling that the latter won't happen, at least not for a very good while.

Propaganda began as a jejune vendetta - an "anything you can do I can do better" creation - and now that this vendetta has dropped off the face of the earth, I don't want to handle it anymore. The house idea was ridiculous, something that I was never particularly keen on to begin with. There are many things about this site that now I look at with contempt.

I'm not a very ... bold person. If someone asks me if they can do something that I would prefer them not to, I will tell them they can. I will do anything to avoid conflict. This is one of the main reasons that Propaganda has ended up where it is now.

Instead of having a site I created because I felt like I had to, I've created one because I want to.

It's hosted on IPBfree, which is virtually IF with extra features. You'll be able to choose between several different layouts, eliminating the stress of having to deal with conflicting opinions every few months.

However, please be aware that not everyone who was accepted to Propaganda will be accepted to this new site.
There is a reason for this. Within the last few months of Propaganda's existence the standards dropped radically. I never wanted this to happen, honest to god. On the new site, the advanced standards will remain solid. Most of you whom have remained active enough to read this will be perfectly safe, so don't worry; I just felt I needed to put up this warning to be fair.

Before any of you ask, I'm not sure if I will keep Propaganda open or let it die. The likelihood of me passing it down to anyone is very slim. If I do so, it will be to a close, trustworthy friend of mine, so please don't ask if you can. If I choose to go down that route, I will come to you.

I mean, I definately don't want to abandon most of my role-plays on this site!

I won't be closing the site down, so you can still look at your role-plays and things. And for the time being Propaganda isn't closed, so you can still role-play with whomever you want or relocate your role-plays to Incognito as well. Whatever you want.

Shit. Well, if anything, I hope you leave Propaganda up. I'd like to continue some of my roleplays here, though I'm sure I'll move most of them to Incognito (assuming I get accepted into it).
I understand your reasons for this though.
Hopefully the new site will be what you wanted.

RJ and Kali, I'm sorry that you're not happy about the change of pace. Really. However, I'm also aware that there are going to be people that aren't happy about the move, and even though my inner people pleaser is telling me to drop it, I know I'm just going to be miserable and Propaganda is just going to go into a deeper hole with miserable management. /:

As for why I dislike the house system ...
It was never really something I liked to begin with. The houses originally started out as a way to sort people into groups so I could have a member legend, honestly. Then it evolved into something more to make Propaganda seem new and innovative, when in reality it really wasn't.

There are some people that think the house idea is stupid, there are some people that really like it. Like I said, I can't please everyone. I'm just trying to do my best.
