Block Building


-Engine Machining, Blueprint, and Balance: In order to increase the potential in your engine, you must always strengthed the block and internals due to higher compression and heat. This is also a must for forced induction. This comes in three stages:


Stage I: Stage I is a moderately light build. Disassembling the block, all tolerances are checked and, if nessecary, returned to stock specifications. In addition, higher temperature gaskets are added and the block is reassembled. (Can handle boost levels up to 9psi)+35hp $2000
Stage II: Stage II takes stage one a step further by installing aftermarket internals, high temp/pressure gaskets, machining the crank, and reassembling according to spec. (Can handle boost levels of 10-17psi)+50hp $4500 (Internals are included in this kit)
Stage III: Stage III converts the block to a basic full race setup. Blueprint, balance, ported, honed, race prepped crank, and race built internals, this is a MUST have for anyone wanting the ultimate in fast.(Can handle boost levels of 18-36psi)+100hp $6000 (Internals are included in this kit)
-Forged Piston Kits: Aftermarket forged pistons are made from low silicon type aluminum to reduce high heat expansion and to withstand high RPM and high cylinder pressure. This piston kit is a must to insure a bullet proof bottom end.+15hp $1500

-Forged Connecting Rod Kits: Aftermarket connecting rods are made from nickel chrome-moly materials for low weight and to increase strength. These rods are made to our specs to withstand high RPM and high power applications, and used in conjunction with our piston kit. +15hp $1300

-Forged Crankshaft: Aftermarket crankshafts forged from 4340 steel, and treat with multi-stage heat process. These crankshafts are full counterweight designed for easy balancing, cross drilled & chamfered oil holes for improved oiling, and nitrided journal surfaces for superior wear resistance. Able to withstand high RPM, aswell as loads of horsepower and tourqe. Used for the top of hte line bulletproof bottom ends. +15hp $2000

-Oil Pans: Aftermarket oil pans designed with highspeeds and high G-forces in mind. When a car turns, accelerates, brakes, etc; the oil shifts in the pan, sometimes starving the engine and causing premature wear. These pans are designed with a deeper sump, allowing for more oil to be in reserve. In addition, a high flow oil pump is used in conjunction with this to keep the engine lubricated at all times. Also includes a high temp/high pressure gasket kit. $250

-ARP Engine Fastener Kit: Kit includes fasteners for: valve covers, intake manifold, headers, fuel and water pumps front cover, thermostat housing, alternator, coil, distributor brackets, motor mounts and head. Seals engine with tighter fasteners that hold higher hp to higher redlines. A must for a 500hp+ streetrod $300



Head Work

-Adjustable Cam Gears: Adjustable cam gears enables adjustment to an engine's cam timing. Increase horsepower and torque without any cam changes, and are ideal for heavily modified engines. True laser-etched markings on the leading edge of the gear allow for quick, accurate adjustment. Grade-8, six-point hex bolts stand up to repeated adjustments and feature integral washer flange for greater load distribution. $200

-Aftermarket Pulley Kits: Modified pulleys increase power by decreasing the parasitic effects that factory accessory pulleys have on a vehicle's engine. These lightweight pulleys reduce rotating weight and are slightly oversized to maximize efficiency, which nets more horsepower at the wheels. $100

-Camshafts: Racing camshaft profiles are designed using the latest computerized valvetrain and modeling techniques to maximize horsepower and torque. Our camshafts are designed utilizing years of racing experience. These camshaft blanks are cast from the same foundries used by auto manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and Mitsubishi, and utilize the latest in Japanese chill-casting technology. FP Racing camshafts are ground to exact specification using CNC cam grinding machines and are subjected to hours of performance and durability testing.


Stage I: Stage I camshafts are very low profile, considerablly close to OEM specs, but poslished up to provide higher performance. Perfect set up for rebuilding a stock engine not shotting for lots of power. +20hp $300
Stage II: Stage II camshafts bump it up a couple of notches. This stage is perfect for the street tuner looking to increas his top end game with out going all out.With a larger lift over Stage I, you will see very nice gains that will make you smile. +40hp $600
Stage III: Stage III profiles are designed for purpose-built race engines with high-rpm capabilities only! Upgrading to racing valvetrain components and extensive engine work is required for the proper functioning of these camshafts. Compression and engine flow must also be significantly increased. Stage III camshafts should be installed and tuned by professional engine builders only! Do not use oversized valves. +60hp $900
Turbo: Turbo profiles are designed for engines with forced induction. Aggressive lift and valve opening/closing motions allow these cams to maximize power with a minimum amount of overlap. Each profile is designed with extensive input from the top racers in the sport compact industry. +70hp $1200
-Valve Springs: Racing valve springs are made from the highest quality chrome silicone wire from Japan. These valve springs are designed from experiences in touring car and drag racing. The dual interference fit valve spring design prevents harmonic spring surge and valve float. All valve springs are race tested and proven and can be used with both forced induction and naturally aspirated engines. $300

-Valves: Made from SAE EV8 stainless one piece forgings which are heat treated using a proprietary heat treatment process. After CNC-machining and swirl polishing, a PVD black nitride coating is applied to reduce friction and increase wear resistance. Racing valves are lightweight, durable, and offer excellent heat and corrosion resisitance. They are available in stock and over sizes in both standard and high compressions styles. +10hp $300

-Titanium Retainers: Racing retainers are CNC machined from super-strong aerospace quality titanium and are designed to significantly reduce overall valvetrain mass. They are machined to extremely close tolerances in order to ensure properly installed spring heights and pressures. $170

-Port and Polished Head: Increasing the flow and efficiency of your stock head is a major part of increasing potential horsepower capacity. By porting the head and polishing the lobes, you increase the volume and maximize the flow, therefore increasing the power. Also includes upgraded head gaskets. When coupled with upgraded valvetrain components, this is a must have for serious racers. +75hp $2500



Cooling Systems


-Street Radiator: Featuring a larger size and made from polished or brushed aluminum, this upgrade will allow you to run higher power and compression levels and still keep the engine nice and cool. Made to bolt directly up with minimal modification to the stock location. Includes a light weight composite fan and all nessecary wiring. +10hp -5w $300

-Race Radiator: Slightly larger than the street application, this radiator is a blend of style and function to cool your race-ready ride. Made in a polished or brushed aluminum finish, this application features a carbon-kevlar frame for lighter mounting without sacrificing strength. This application comes with all the required mounting hardware, but is not predrilled as most race cars have unique setups. Includes dual CK fans with all required wiring.+13hp -15w $500

-Air Diversion Plate: Made from 1mm aluminum, air diversion plates are designed to not only improve under the engine looks, but to contain airflow to the radiator core, thus, improving cooling efficiency. +5hp $200

-Transmission Cooling Kit: Increase the longevity of your transmission with a transmission cooling kit. Lower operating temps will mean more reliable operation, and less breakdown of fluids. +5hp +10w $400

-Oil Cooler Kit: Oil Cooler Kits help prolong the life of your oil, and in turn, your internal engine components. They are an excellent addition, and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. Similar to the inner-fin core design in racing intercoolers, it enables oil capacity to be increased, and temperatures to decrease, as well as extend engine and oil life. Internal or external thermostats are offered to allow for quick engine warm up. The effecient core and durable steel-braided lines ensure good flow and a leak free installation. +20hp +10w $500

-Electric Fan Kit: Are you trying to free up some horsepower and also beat the heat. Buy FP's Custom electric fan kit. It will enable you to get rid of the clutch type, engine powered, horsepower robbing fan that you currently have. If your car has a clutch type fan this is the mod for you.

Intake Parts

-Short Ram Air Intake: This intake is moutned fairly close to your engine. Due its relative loacation, all air in the engine bay is easily sucked in and forced into the intake manifold. +5hp $150


-Cold Air Intake: This intake actually mounts in a location lower on the front bumper to allow fresh air to flow directly into the intake. Utilizing this system, the intake can create more airflow with denser air giving the engine more power potential. +10hp $250

-Street Manifolds: Intake manifolds built for the street. Featuring polished intake ports and a wider throttle body, this will give you an extra edge on the streets. +25hp $500

The brass shafts run on bearings with the butterflies secured by split screws for ease of servicing and reliability. The butterflies have a .0005" tolerance fit to ensure good balance and fit while the injector boss placement is positioned to ensure good fuel atomization. This works great for N/A and F/I cars.
