THE RULES
o1. no spamming the c-boxi. i can not stress this enough - if you do it you WILL be banned from the c-box.
ii. no spamming anywhere other than the ooc forum, and even then it's still annoying.
iii. alright, so it annoys me when people post other site links in the c-box. DON'T DO IT. i will find it out, and i don't care who you are, don't.
iv. in the e-mail/url box please put your e-mail if you'd like people to contact you.
v. please don't post the same thing over and over unless you made a mistake! (which we all do) o2. no disrespecting, flaming, and/or 'trolling' other membersi. respect is extremely important, which is why i ask you not to say things about other members.
ii. i know, it's a hard rule, but please follow it - and especially not to their face... sort of. ha.
iii. if you need to talk to someone, do it over PMs or messengers, but don't trash someone on the c-box. that's considered spam
iv. trolling? what does trolling mean? uhm... well... itsthesecretwordbutbequietaboutit.
v. i seriously have NO IDEA what trolling is, though. well, at least i think. o3. plagiarism i. i'm hoping that this doesn't come up on this site, but no ripping other people's works
ii. this includes graphics - just don't do it, it's not nice
iii. if you are found ripping graphics (meaning you didn't ask for them and took them, or if you didn't credit appropriately) or anyone's writing (BADBADBAD) then you will be suspended for two days, warning level increased, and pretty much bad things will happen to you.
iv. wanna know why i'm so strict on this? it's happened to me before, so don't do it or the punishment will be severe. o4. lengths of postsi. in any roleplaying forum that is actually ROLEPLAYING i am going to ask you to post at least four nice paragraphs.
ii. this means that you should use anywhere from five wonderful sentences to eight sentences, if you are choosing only to do four good paragraphs.
iii. now, i won't be counting the words or the characters, but please don't do anything stupidly short or stupidly long.
iv. remember, people don't like to reply to things too long for them, and replying to a short post is hard for people too. o5. namesi. the canon list will have some of the names filled out for you - please use them, no matter how 'horrible' they are. no complaining.
ii. we won't fill out the middle name, so you can make that up!
iii. this is another thing to make sure you've read the rules - you M-U-S-T register with your character's first, middle, and last name.
iv. also, if you're making an original, make sure that you're not using your name (last name, at least). and please don't give out any personal information on this site.
v. i REALLY don't want to be held responsible for anything, so just leave it at your first name or nickname, pleaaseee.
iv. REGISTER WITH YOUR CHARACTER'S FIRST, MIDDLE, AND LAST NAME, PLEASE! o6. restricted forumi. this forum is for those who are roleplaying things that are R.
ii. cussing is allowed, but i don't want to read a post that's cussing every two words.
iii. however, if that is your character THINKING then you must make sure that you make that extremely clear.
iv. please PM an admin for the password to the restricted forum! otherwise... you won't get it, really.
v. also PM an admin if you'd like something to be moved there. o7. character limiti. the boy/girl ratio is always a hard one to even out, so i'm asking you that after creating two girls, please make a boy.
ii. there is not a character limit set for now, but just remember the rule above.
iii. BUT there is a limit for subplot characters. you may not have more than three subplot characters - but that doesn't mean that you get to go out and make three.
iv. so please leave some subplot characters for later members, i don't want to have to write more subplots because all of the characters are played by two or three members. o8. i don't know what to say here other than HAVE FUN!i. i know these rulse look hard, but really they'll be easy to follow, just as long as you have fun!
ii. oh, and did i mention that there are two secret words? well, the next one that you'll put is whale. really, just put it, and you'll be ready for acceptance!
