Many vendors come to sell their goods at Phillips Square, in part because it is in such a great location. It is constantly bathed in sunlight when the weather is good, but remains nice and shady throughout the day with its trees, and there are plenty of benches to rest on.

32 kilometres in length, Sherbrooke is the second longest street on the Island of Montreal. As well as being home to a number of the major universities in Montreal, Sherbrooke also offers a number of popular attractions, including the Museum of Fine Arts and the Olympic Stadium.

Much of René Lévesque Boulevard is lined with highrise office towers, but there are plenty of small business around here too that usually spark a little interest. Just off the Boulevard itself you'll also find the multiplex cinema and an ice rink for some entertaining evenings out.

A vast area at the bottom of Mont Royal which, unlike many others in the city, is actually flat. Le Plateau is arguably the "hippest" neighbourhood in Montreal. You'll find a multitude of small stores here, as well as some reasonably priced residential areas.

Crescent Street is where it's all happening. After a long week of hard work there's nothing like kicking back and going out with a bunch of people and getting drunk. From fancy nightclubs and swanky bars to expensive restaurants and seedy strip clubs, Crescent Street has everything.

It is one of several English-language hospitals in Montreal, so it's perfect if you're a tourist and aren't so hot with your french. Mount Royal is a mountain on the Island of Montreal, immediately north of downtown Montreal, the city to which it gave its name. The mountain consists of three peaks: 233 m at its highest. At this height, it might be otherwise considered a hill, but it has always been called a mountain.

Montreal's Underground City is a set of interconnected complexes (both above and below ground) in and around Downtown Montreal. Connected areas include shopping malls, apartment buildings, hotels, banks, offices, museums, seven metro stations, and the Bell Centre amphitheatre and arena. It is also known as the indoor city and is the largest underground complex in the world.

This subterranean complex is home to the agents and the scientists working in Montreal. As well as a vast quantity of laboratories, research facilities and detainment centres, it also offers counselling rooms to all employees and a medical wing. The entrance is concealed in a disused warehouse and is heavily guarded. If you're not supposed to be here, you're not getting in.

Further out of the city itself you'll find smaller residential areas, quieter neighbourhoods, and more finely spread communities of people. The scenery here is often far more aesthetically pleasing, and the further you drive out of the city, the more greenery you’ll come across. It might be quieter, but it's still a lovely place to visit.
