Reports indicate that one of NLCW's most popular legends Dazz has walked away from NLCW offices after having a last minute meeting with owner Dade Midvalley.
Sources inside the building at the time have stated that Dazz was seen looking sullen and upset while still carrying the championship belts he'd earned before getting into a car and driving away.
After speaking to Midvalley in an official statement he revealed that:
"Dazz had a lot on his mind and told me how it pained him to do this but he had to take a leave now, even though he feels he's disappointing himself, the fans and everybody associated with NLCW.
He will leave still undefeated as NLCW's Undisputed, American and Television champion and can have a rematch if he so wishes whenever he chooses to return but from now on, a deal has been made and we will see his opponent at this week's Avulsion Enigma taking on Dillon Durst to crown a new Undisputed champion at Sultan of the Squared Circle.
Also Sean Galen will take on the runner up of the Sultan tournament to crown a new American champion while the Television title will be contested between Carmine and Ryan Coleman in 2 out of 3 Falls at the same event.
Obviously this is a very sad time for us all and after spending the day talking to Dazz, he decided to take a sabbatical now while he still had a love for professional wrestling rather than become bitter and despise it. He'd spent quite a few weeks at home thinking about this decision and felt he had no other option due to burn out and not feeling that competitive spirit.
He apologises to everybody if they feel let down but as I said, plans are in place for the Sultan event regarding crowning three new champions."
No other comment could be made available.
Contrary to this "report" no deal has been made regarding any of the titles that were held by Dazz.
Once again the Internet dirt sheets have got it wrong.
An official NLCW announcement will be made shortly.
