The Assembly; Formed by Nathan Petrelli after the death of his biological daughter, Claire Bennet. At first, it consisted of 20 evolved humans set to protect mutant rights when the regular law enforcement wouldn't. When the Company began targeting them and their numbers were reduced, they were disbanded. Now, all that's left is their dream, but without a leader and without a cause, those fighting for mutant rights are in disarray. Will the President of the United States bring them back together in the future?
The Company; For years, the Company worked to study the evolved humans, allowing the non-threatening ones to live, but keeping those that posed a danger to society locked up for further treatment. When the Assembly began trying to protect all mutants and ruin what the Company had been trying to do, they became their new targets, and were successful at it. When the Assembly was disbanded, they continued their work in the shadows, taking those they saw as a threat and eliminating them.
Neutrals; Any human or evolved human who just wants to continue living their life in piece and quiet. Now that followers of the Assembly and those of the Company have spread outside of the United States, there are far more Neutrals than expected. Should they rally together, they would be capable of taking out both sides, but they need to be wary: one wrong move and their secret life could be exposed and they'll be the next victim.
