DRESS CODE:
Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry expects the following dress codes to be properly adhered to:

1. Uniforms must be in uniform in class and during official school events.
2. Shorts or skirts must be finger-tip length or longer.
3. No spaghetti straps or low-cut tank tops.
4. Proper footwear must be worn at all times.
5. Inappropriate or excessive bearing of the chest or midriff area will not be tolerated.
6. Students MUST bathe regularly.
7. Students may never wear t-shirts or clothing with any violent imagery, gang symbols, profanity, or general vulgarities depicted.
8. Any clothing bearing the mark of the Dark Lord will be immediately confiscated and may result in suspension or expulsion of the wearer.

SCHOOL RULES:

1. Alcohol, drugs, and tobacco products are strictly forbidden to students. If a student is of age to smoke tobacco, they may not do so on Hogwarts grounds.
2. Student curfew is 10.00 pm. Students caught out of bed past 10.00 pm will be penalized.
3. Students are permitted to go to Hogsmeade only during school-chaperoned trips.
4. Use of profanity or otherwise inappropriate language or gestures will result in a detention.
5. Cutting class will result in a detention and makeup hours for that class.
6. Owls must be kept in the owlery. The only animals that will be permitted in dorms are cats, toads, or rats.
7. Students must respect all campus facilities. Any and all vandalizing or other damages to school property will result in an investigation and heavy fining, as well as suspension and possible expulsion.
8. Student-staff relationships are STRICTLY forbidden. In the event that a student-staff relationship is occuring, the student will be suspended or expelled, and the teacher will be fired without question.
9. Teachers have the right to discipline students by issuing detention or other reasonable forms of punishment. Corporal punishment will in no way be tolerated, however.
10. Absolutely no use of magic on another student.
11. Dueling is strictly prohibited and will result in detention for BOTH parties, no exception.
