Slytherin Commons With an eerie green glow from the lake above, Slytherin commons retained much of the old dungeony feel. Hung with silver and green banners and with black leather couches spread throughout the room, the only fireplace in the large common room is a massive one at the end spouting green flames. Serpents and other Slytherin-themed decorations can be found here and there. Reached through a bare stone wall in the dungeon, Slytherin commons and dormitories are located here. Potions Classroom A small dungeon converted into a classroom, this room has stone walls and a few lingering remnants of its former use in the form of the remains of racks and other devices on the ceilings and walls. The frontmost wall is lined with cabinets, the side wall is lined with shelves stacked with old copies of potions books. Hufflepuff Commons A small, warm, cozy common room hung with Hufflepuff black and gold and filled with comfortable armchairs and several fireplaces and bookshelves on the walls, Hufflepuff commons has the homey feeling of grandma's house. History of Magic Classroom A cramped, stuffy room with a large fireplace at the front and crammed with desks, ceiling-to-floor bookshelves chronicling the history of wizards for as long as could be remembered comprise every inch of this room's walls. Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom A massive stone room with high, vaulted ceilings, the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom is always bound to have something interesting in it. With rows of desks spaced back from the teacher's desk at the front, there's plenty of room for dueling or the placement of dangerous and exciting creatures. Cabinets and bookshelves full of books and supplies line the far right wall, and high ceilings line the left. All Defense Against the Dark Arts classes are held here.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Headmaster's Office Password-protected by a gargoyle, a winding escalator-type staircase leads up to a door with a large bronze knocker. Inside is a high-ceilinged, circular room, the walls of which bear bookshelves and tomes of wisdom, as well as portraits of all Hogwarts headmasters past. Artifacts such as The Sorting Hat and other Hogwarts-affiliated items can be found on the shelves around the room, and the Headmaster's desk is on the opposite side before a large window.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:

The Room of Requirement Located on the seventh floor opposite a massive tapestry of Barnabas the Barmy attempting to teach trolls to dance ballet, the Room of Requirement only appears to those who truly need it. Gryffindor Commons Located in Gryffindor tower, the Gryffindor commons are a round room positively hung with red and gold bander, pennants, and pride. Filled with mis-matched squashy armchairs and tables, and a large and comfortable fireplace at one end, Gryffindor commons is an ideal spot for Gryffindors to socialize. Divination Classroom Located in the North Tower, the Divination classroom is small and round, filled with various cushions and poufs surrounding small round tables on which may be placed crystal balls, cups of tea, and other methods of seering. The Owlery Located in West Tower, the Owlery is a circular, loud and busy room filled to bursting with, well, owls. All school owls and personal owls must be kept here. This is also a good means for quick communication between school chums- all messages are sent through the owlery, unless passed in notes.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Ravenclaw Commons Located in West Tower, Ravenclaw commons is a round room with large windows facing the mountains. The high ceiling is domed and painted with constellations, and at the far end from the trap door stands a massive statue of Rowena Ravenclaw wearing her lost diadem. The room is strung with hangings of Ravenclaw bronze and blue, and the sofas are comfortable but reasonable. Bookshelves are hardly lacking in this room, since wit beyond measure IS man's greatest treasure. The Ravenclaw Commons are accessed through a trapdoor.
