^^I never said Ortiz isn't clutch. I would take Ortiz over Pujols in 9th inning. You can't go wrong either way u go. Both r good clutch hitters. I was just responding to KC saying Pujols is not clutch, which is a joke.

Im tired of arguing really, Pujols is better all around becuz his fielding ability and his decent speed. But Ortiz is under the whole Red Sox nation pressure, its not easy to play in fenway park. I think its easier in Bush Stadium. Also Ortiz was out for at least half a month too and he had 52 homeruns. I mean i cant say Ortiz is alot better than Pujols and Pujols is younger than Papi so Pujols will catch up to Papi very soon, but right now i'd rather have Papi as the better "hitter" |

b/c ur a sox fan and are in love with him. There is no pressure for papi in Fenway anymore casue u all love him to much. Pujols missed more time hits for a better avg and is a better hitter. End of story |

How can you say Red Sox fans love Ortiz too much??? He broke an 86 year old curse for them, if anyhting he deserves more love. And when Sportsnutt says "Its hard to be clutch when you dont get you team to the playoffs" i think hes talking bout ortiz not getting the red sox to the playoffs but i think ur forgetting that Ortiz led the AL in Homers n RBIs. He The red sox didnt make the playoffs because of injuries. They were a wildcard or AL East Champion with an injured Coco, Time wakefield, Trot Nixon,Mike Timlin, Keith Foulke and Matt Clement but once they lost Captain Varitek they fell apart.

exactly if he was the MVP he should ahve been able to lead them to the playoffs. Pujols has no help. Edmonds and Rolen dont do nething ne more |

by any chance did you catch a game of the World Series? Pujols didn't do much at all. It was Eckstein, Rolen, and Molina mainly carrying their offensem and their pitching was brilliant. |
