Dungeons and Sub-Levels The dungeons are a dark, and sometimes dreary place. They are home to one house, Slytherin. The potions classroom is down here, which is a large one, usually with 20 cauldrons set up. The kitchens are also down here and many students come here to have a midnight snack. Hufflepuff students also come down here to their common room, although it is not exactly in the dungeons. |

Ground Floor Upon entering, you find yourself in the Entrance Hall, with oak doors, the hourglasses and the large marble staircase leading up to the first floor. Off to the right is the Great Hall, with the magical ceiling. The first years are sorted here, with the stool and the sorting hat placed in front of the long staff table. |

First Floor On the first floor, there are only three classrooms; Muggle Studies, Defense Against the Dark Arts and History of Magic. All three of these classes are well known, and they are in large rooms. They all have medium sized windows, with a view of the grounds. |

Second Floor The second floor is fairly empty, with paintings and scupltures dotted around, and only Moaning Myrtle's out of order bathroom is here. It is a fairly boring floor, and many students just bypass it on their way to their classes. |

Third Floor Ah, the third floor is home to the forbidden corridor, a corridor that was guarded by a three headed dog many years ago. The dog answered to Fluffy and could only be put to sleep by playing music. The trophy room is also up here, with plenty of trophies that students have recieved. The Charms classroom and Hospital Wing are also up here. |

Fourth Floor The fourth floor is pretty empty also. There is a bathroom up here, most likely the girl's. The library is also up here, filled with many books about the history of Hogwarts, magic and more. |

Fifth Floor The fifth floor has many corridors, but only the Prefect's bathroom is up here. It's a large bathroom, with a huge marble swimming pool like bath in the middle. Most of the prefect's come here on the weekends to relax. |

Sixth Floor The sixth floor is the lonliest floor of all. All that is up here is the boy's bathroom, corridors and marbe steps. Nothing much. |

Seventh Floor and Towers Up here, it is a busy place. There are a few towers up here, as well as two common rooms, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. Divination and Astronomy are also held up here, as well as Transfiguration. The highest part of the castle is the busiest place it seems. |
