Board Guidelines [must read]

Rules & Guidelines To Lena Forums
NOTE: All administrators and moderators have the right to edit any post or profile, at any time if the following rules and guidelines are broken. Also, by simply posting to this site, you are agreeing to follow these guidelines.

No Spamming
Spam are posts that aren't needed and just used to boost up your post count. Also multiple posts, and/or threads is also considered spamming. We like your posts to be at least two sentances long. If you just want to say "thank you", stretch it out. For example; "Hey, thank you so much for the information. It was extremely helpful to me."

Any and all spam posted to this site will be deleted, and the poster will, at least recieve a warning.

No Obscene/Pornographic
Things that are considered of a "mature" nature, are not allowed on this site.

If a member posts something obscene/pornographic, it could result in immediate banning of that member.

Usernames
Your username is considered your board identity. It's important to pick a screen name for yourself, that you really like. As you only get 1 account on this website.

You are NOT allowed to have a vulgar screen name. If your username is considered obscene/vulgar, it will automatically be changed, until you choose another.
If you are caught with an un-allowed username, then you will recieve a PM from a staff member, giving you 24 hours to respond with a new name request. If you fail to respond, then your name will be changed with an e-mail notification, and you will recieve a warning message.

Avatars
Avatars are the little icons under your screen name, that will sit beside each post you make on the forums.

Subjects of the avatars must stick to Lena Cardwell, or someone Lena has worked with in a movie, or on an album. You can see what films she has been on, by going to the Lena Cardwell 2001 website, and checking out the filmography.
You must ignrore the "pre-installed" avatars in this board. They are not allowed. This is a free message board, so it automatically comes with them. There's isn't an option for administrators to hide that option.
If you are caught with an avatar larger or smaller then allowed for you, it will be changed without notification.

Administrators - 120x160
Global Moderators - 120x145
Moderators - 120x120
Members - 114x114

Ranking/Post System
Members will be ranked by post count. Here's the complete list and how many posts you need for each ranking.

Bronze Fan: 0 - 49 Posts
Silver Fan: 50 - 149 Posts
Gold Fan: 150 - 499 Posts
Sapphire Fan: 500 - 999 Posts
Emerald Fan: 1000 - 4999 Posts
Diamond Fan: 5000 - 9999 Posts
Platinum Fan: 10000 + Posts

Signature
Your signature is the area below each post you make. You can use this to express yourself. Signature's on message boards can also be referred to as a "Siggy".

No Pornographic/Obscene images or text allowed.
You can have up to 2 small animated images.
Your signature must can not be larger then 500x150 pixels. See the box below, for comparission.

By keeping your signature 500x150 pixels or smaller, will help prevent distortion in the screen.
Limit of 4 smilies per signature.

Personal Photo
Your personal photo is viewable by other members, and is displayed in your profile.

Personal photos can be of any subject, with the exception of obscene/pornographic nature.
Members get to have a personal photo of 114x114 (pixels) in size.

Private Messages
A private message, other wise noted as a PM, is like having an e-mail inbox, except it's between members on the site.

All members and staff get to store up to 150 images in the PM boxes.
Be sure to keep your inbox clear enough, otherwise you will be unable to recieve messages.

Board Cleaning
A secret hidden place on the forums, where all threads go to rest.

Only board staff has access to this secret forum. Member posts will go down, when this forum is emptied.

Language Please

Do NoT tYpE lIkE tHiS! It is way too hard for some people to read.
No "kewl" talk. We don't like to censcor members here, however it can become offensive to some members. Also hard for them to read and understand.
Watch the cussing. Little words here and there won't hurt too badly, however, this is a forum for Lena Cardwell fans of all ages, let's keep it clean!

Posting & Topics

Please look around before starting a new topic. Just to make sure the topic does not already exist. We don't want or need multiple threads for one topic. Unless one thread was closed (after reaching 200 replies) and a new thread has been started for that topic.
Please be sure to post in the correct board. If you are not sure where to post, then read the descriptions of each board.

No Harassment

This especially applies to harassment of other members! This is not tolerated. We don't want to see people getting hurt by others. We understand this isn't always avoidable, and we want you to feel free to express yourself. Just please watch your words, and be careful of what you say.
If you are caught harassing another member, you will immediately recieve warning, or worse, banning.
There is no harassing board staff members. This could lead to instant banning.

Giving Full Credit

We do not support people stealing others work, then claiming it to be their own. So if you post a news article, rumor, etc, and get them off a website, magazine or another member of the boards. Please give that member/site full credit.
When posting an article off a website, only post a part of the article, and link to the rest of it.

The Warning System

Warning will be given to members who don't follow the guidelines.
Once your warning bar is full, you may be subject to a banning from this site.
You can loose any warning, by staying on good behaivor.
