Mythis Bay The shimmering waters of this port city are the most pristine thing about it. The docks and buildings have a certain touch of crudeness to them from the cycle of destruction and construction that dominated the area. Ships come and go with bundles of goods, transporting things to and fro from An'ivara to Ava-Ther in the Firathian Empire. Much of the forest that had surrounded this little piece of civilization has been cut down and contributed to the building of the city, the bare land left to weather as there aren't enough farmers to use the space. This human colony most certainly not a place that nobility or many elves would like to live in. Instead, it's a den for thieves, adventurers, and a plethora of traders.

O'aan One of the first humans to venture so far into the Thymalran Empire was a famous ranger named Owen, and he set up camp one night near some picturesque waterfalls in a small cave. However, a group of goblins throttled him in his sleep, and his journal was found in the forest a few weeks later. An elven lord who was quite fond of tragic tales found the spot of the adventurer's demise and began to build a city in his name. O'aan was once a beautiful sight to see, with brilliant archetecture and well-kept gardens, but like much else in the region it has fallen into disrepair, even though it is still habitable. The return of the elves, though, has spawned a movement to revitalize the vast courtyards and remove the seedy taverns that sprung up like weeds. Needless to say, the humans aren't too fond of being deprived of their liquor.

Semti's Hammer Of the three major cities in the An'ivara region, Semti's Hammer is the best preserved. Though still not as glorious as O'aan even today, it's certainly an impressive site. Almost every building is made out of thick stone quarried from the mountains that are just east of town. In fact, the town goes into the mountain, where ancient dwarven halls were once shared with only the local group of drow. Due to being a dwarf-run city, it's certianly the place to buy weapons and armor if you have the extra gold to spare.

Ziarah Forest The largest, most unknown expanse of wilderness in the region is the Ziarah forest, stretching from the edge of O'aan to the coast. Inhabited by plenty of bands of orcs, trolls, and goblins, it's easy to understand why it is that many who go in don't come back. Of course, with each great mystery comes a treasure at the end -- some say that there's a ruined castle or city somewhere in it's leafy depths. Whether or not there is really something in there is questionable, but the threat of death doesn't stop many warriors and mages alike from venturing forth to their own demise.
