'Det looked over her shoulder and motioned toward the middle of the top shelf; "Here." She seemed distracted with her thoughts and in a few minutes had most of the things put away. All that lay on the table were two rolls.

She handed one to Tomas and sat down, suddenly looking exhausted. Then, as though a thought just made itself known, she furrowed her brow.

"Wait...sneaking around?" She arched a brow at him, head tilted curiously.

((Sorry it took me so long to reply! I forgot...Heh...))

He shrugs.

"I'm exiled, 'Det. As far as the clan is concerned, I never existed."

He's just been lucky and has a brother who was willing to take the rightborn son of the exiled brother into the clan and raise him properly.

"I've been following the caravan and watching."

And not much else.

Though her reply was simple, her thoughts were far from. Exiled? But...he never mentioned that. Not that he had to. Not that we had much time to just talk. Though you'd think something like that would've been at least slipped into conversation...

She took a bite out of her roll as though to delay speech, but words had to come eventually.

"So why would they let you in, let alone me?"

"Tia. She thinks Robbie's Rob's get, off some other woman. I... think I can get her to let me see him, 's long as I dispel the notion."

Pause.

"She isn't going to know about you."

Of course he's exiled.

He's got the wrong form for any clan.
