'There's a celebrity in my ear'


Huggy has kept his counsel for much of camplife.

The Starsky and Hutch star prefers to observe rather than get involved in petty squabbles, but this was his time to take the limelight, or should that be slimelight.

The previous trial involving Joe and a helicopter might have looked spectacular, but there’s nothing better than watching a celebrity face up to the creep-crawlies.





Wearing a Perspex case around his head, Huggy was duly covered in fly pupae, ants, mealworm, cockroaches – and some revolting looking spiders.

And just to make sure the insects bound together, there was some emu eggs and turkey feathers for good measure.

Huggy gained a respectable four stars out of seven.

Looking a picture, he cried: “There’s a celebrity in my ear.”

That left Ant and Dec to ponder, was it Midge ure, Jimmy Cricket, Adam Ant, Stephen Fly, Kate Moth… I’ll get my butterfly net.
