The next action-packed battle of the D-1! But, see, both the players were Judging the match, and this can affect their playing ability. When Gomamon was at very low health, Phyzium chose to dodge the attack, and has admitted that she would not have if she hadn't known her low health. Can you decide the outcome of this battle?!?!

BlackAgumon runs forward, and leans towards his left to dodge the attack, and then yells "Pepper Breath!" shouting a ball of fire at Betamon before turning into the maze-like structure of the bottom floor of the Arena.

Not expecting his attack to miss, Gomamon stands stunned, watching the fireball fly at him. It strikes him in the chest, but he quickly recovers and watches BlackAgumon run off. An idea hatching in his head, he scrambles up a nearby ramp, onto the second floor.

Far above BlackAgumon, the hurried clacking of Gomamon's claws echoes and then suddenly dies, leaving the building eerily silent. "Claw Attack!" the seal yells, leaping off the catwalk. He plummets downward toward the dinosaur, slashing at him with his front paw.

He half-heartedly used the momentum of bouncing off the wall to attack with Mega Crusher towards Gomamon. Meanwhile, Justin heads up the ramp on his side of the room to try to get a better view.

Within the tangle of claws and fur, Gomamon is hit by Black Agumon's attack in the confusion. Collecting himself, he fires another stream of bubbles from his mouth. "Aqua Stream!"

BlacAgumon isn't in a very good position to dodge, and is hit full on by the blast. He's knocked over and hits the ground. Justin sees over the edge of the skywalk, BlackAgumon laying on the ground with Gomamon still standing. "BlackAgumon! Get up!"

Gomamon sneers as he is given an advantage. Rushing forward as fast as a seal can move, he slashes his claws at Black Agumon, shouting "Claw Attack!" Above, Lynn sits on the edge of a catwalk, across from Justin. "Hey, you can't attack someone while they're down, Goma," she yells half-heartedly.

BlackAgumon sees Gomamon initiate his attack, and at the last moment he moves his claws, grapping Gomamon's attack. Gomamon is now hold by BlackAgumon, so BlackAgumon attacks with Pepper Breath before Gomamon can react, at point black range.

Yelping in surprise, Gomamon tumbles backward as the fireball strikes him head-on. He shakes his head, landing on his back, before getting back up with a minor struggle. He takes off into the darkness of the maze. Meanwhile, Lynn gets up and crosses to the other side of the catwalk, leaning over the edge and watching him escape.

BlackAgumon runs over the the corridor Gomamon ran into. After looking in, he runs past it to the next corridor and takes it, hoping to catch Gomamon from an angle he wasn't expecting. "That's the way, BlackAgumon," says Justin.
Phyz says:
Continuing down the corridor, Gomamon begins to slow down, although his guard remains up. Finally he stops to catch his breath, peering over his shoulder. As he strains his ears to catch even the smallest of sounds, a noise reaches them-- footsteps. He jumps up and scans the hallway, opening his mouth and firing an Aqua Stream into the darkness.

BlackAgumon hears the blast, but doesn't see it in the maze. However, Justin is able to spot Gomamon from the direction he saw it going. "BlackAgumon! He's just around the next corner, use Mega Crusher!" Sure enough, BlackAgumon swings around at Gomamon's backside with Mega Crusher.

Diving forward, he feels a rush of wind as he narrowly dodges the attack. He rolls onto his back and opens his mouth again, shooting off a last Aqua Stream as a final hurrah.
