Next month? o.o Seems like there'd be a lot more press coverage if that were true. Also, the title might change before the release. I think Goblet of Fire's original title was Doomspell Tournament (something like that, at least).
XD at the comments at
this site.
It is satisfactory, however dull and rather tedious.

No me gusta.
It needs to be a cooler title. and its probly comin oot in July
Chaotic Fear - December 22, 2006 01:26 AM (GMT)
It was on the news. Two main characters are going to die, and it's supposed to be a mystery who.
King Labramon - December 22, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
my bad...I meant year instead of month xD

Holy hell, you cannot type worth chute.
I have never read Harry Potter in my life but... it seems like some main character dies every book from what I know. Ell oh ell.
Chanman - April 3, 2007 12:40 AM (GMT)
Has anyone seen the cover yet? They revealed on it on TODAY news last week. It's orange.
Dragon Paw - April 3, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
Oh wow. Two main characters die.
I WONDER WHO THOSE WOULD BE.
Definately not both Hermoine and Ron. No, no, that could never be!
King Labramon - April 3, 2007 01:13 AM (GMT)
Ron and Ginny :( leaving Harry and Hermione to have sad sex resulting in a child and happy sex leading to them getting married and living HAPPILY ever after and forgetting Gon and Rinny. <3
Dragon Paw - April 3, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
Now I can dig that.
CAN YOU?
True, Ginny was pretty much a main character in the sixth book after all that lolsnogging.

That was pretty deep.
They need to make it like Harry Potter and The Hookers on 2nd Street Go To Arby's And Get Those Litle Arby's Logos Over Their Head And Are Liek THinkin Arby's.
Just like that, accidental caps and mis-spellings included.
Tsura - April 12, 2007 06:12 PM (GMT)

i don't know what the hell
GG13 - July 21, 2007 07:23 AM (GMT)
I've left the earth to read it. byebye!
Chanman - July 21, 2007 03:57 PM (GMT)
It's finally out today! I wikied a little bit, and I know two characters who die. I stopped myself afterwards. It made me feel like a drug addict...
Chanman - August 4, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
A little late, but I finally got it!
Dragon Paw - August 9, 2007 03:08 PM (GMT)
My favorite characters die in this book.
I think God hates me.
Or, at least, JK Rowling.
HOW COULD YOU KILL MR. SEXY WEREWOLF.
Chanman - August 12, 2007 07:07 PM (GMT)
I finished the book today, and it was so...anticlimactic.
I was like "Oh, it's over." as opposed to to Digimon, where I'm like "OH GOD! IT'S OVER!! WILL HE EVER SEE GUILMON AGAIN?!"
It was a good ending, but just "meh." I didn't leave me craving more.
Zai - August 12, 2007 07:11 PM (GMT)
I think she rushed the writing of some parts of the last few chapters.
I didn't even realize that: (highlight, durh) Tonks and Lupin died.
Dragon Paw - August 12, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
Zai: That's why I'm never buying this book. Ever. How did you not notice it? >_>
Zai - August 12, 2007 07:17 PM (GMT)
Because I was trying to finish the book within the next few minutes, and Rowling didn't spend more than a paragraph for each of their deaths.
That's how. >,>;
Dragon Paw - August 12, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Rowling disgraces good writing with her speed writing. That's why speedwriting is a shit class and no one should take it.
Zai - August 12, 2007 07:19 PM (GMT)
What the hell? There's a speed writing class? XD
Dragon Paw - August 12, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
There is at my school, and no one ever takes it. XD
Zai - August 12, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
Evelon - August 13, 2007 03:32 AM (GMT)
It's true; anticlimactic is a good way to describe this whole book.
So many deaths that were unnecessary. Like, Hedwig. Seriously, was that really needed? "What should we do now?" "Let make Harry as miserable as possible, even if it doesn't make sense..." "KILL THE FUCKING BIRD!"
And the Epilogue, though cute, was like something straight out of a fanfic. "Rose and Hugh". Names that start with R (Ron) and H (Hermione) but with gender switches?
And Albus Serverus? Lame...
GG13 - August 15, 2007 02:38 PM (GMT)
Say what you will. I loved it. Though there were things i HATED like the whole "oh yeah, because he has your blood, you can't die." she could have just said "you took death willingly, making you its master. you wanna go back to save the world, that's good enough to let you." seriously. otherwise, i loved it. Ron running away then coming back made me like him. and i really didn't like Ron. The scene where he destroyed the Horcrux was excellent. And the battle of hogwarts was brilliant. And Hedwig was killed to show the loss of innocence Harry'd experienced. She'd been with him from the first book, she represented his young and friendless self. By killing Hedwig, she showed that Harry was truly an adult. I think that, apart from the reason Harry didn't die, the book was wonderful.
Dragon Paw - August 15, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
I don't understand why we need so much symbolism. Harry's obviously an adult, just look at all the snogging. Poor birdie. It just kind of sounds unnecessary to me, but I haven't read the book.

I actuallyalmostcried when Dobby died.
Evelon - August 16, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Dude, I did too. I just pictured this skinny, tiny, big-eared little thing with a knife in it's chest, all wide and glassy eyed, still looking at Harry like he was the greatest thing in the entire world and that he didn't mind dying.
I was like "Mother fucker..."
GG13 - August 16, 2007 02:17 AM (GMT)
DDDDDDDDDDDD= If i remember correctly, that's the only one that made me cry in the whole book.
