Guests are welcome, but some forums are restricted and not available for public viewing. The most incisive information is usually reserved for members.

There are no preconditions for joining as such... however:

Personal Messaging and email provided here are a privilege - don't abuse by spamming others.

Once validated, new members are encouraged to make their presence known to fellow board members - by introducing themselves in the cafe's 'little rap' forum, for instance. In addition, those who simply continue to lurk, without occasionally posting, may eventually find themselves removed, at the discretion of the admin!

Discuss - and disagree if you must - but respect diversity and do not disparage others. Do not import 'issues' from other bulletin boards, carping about people in absentia! Treat others as you would wish to have them treat you. In short, do not incite, flame, abuse or bait fellow members. Try to use language you wouldn't mind your (hypothetical) 13-yo daughter seeing ;-)
