In case you've never had the good fortune to check out some of his offerings, you should take a look at what this man has been up to over the last 4 years or so.

Unfortunately (in a way) he's just pulled the plug on his Monday wee hours show on KOPN, the community radio station operating out of Columbia, Missouri . The passing of Kento must have hit him pretty hard.

The good news is that most of his weekly programs are available as 20mb mp3's from his site. Just scroll down the textbox in the middle, to near the end. There's some great stuff there, along with his swansong just recently, a must-listen! Or why not go to the archives directly?

I've been known to put these on an mp3 player (non-cutting-edge earlier models are perfect for that) and keep it at the ready for when there's a little spare time... wink.gif

By his own admission, he was of course a Kent Steadman protégé, so it's not surprising to find a lot of Kento's anecdotery there as well. Here's what to look for in that textbox...



Tip: You might want to use a downloader or make sure your browser does resuming after a disconnect, for these seem to happen occasionally... and it really sucks when you get 18mb of a 20mb file, only to have to start over!

One of my kids (older teen) is relishing these broadcasts and keeps us all up to date on the topics that take his interest.

Here is what he has typed up for me to include here:

This second phase is an attempt to achieve what the initial release of AIDS had intended to do and that was lower the world population by nine tenths. So although the worlds population does need considerable lowering, this course of action isn't the way to do it as it is done by those who need to be eliminated against many who shouldn't.

Now this may seem like a wacko parallel but 2012 is slated as the 'end' by those who believe in the Mayan calander (OK, they don't know what that was really about) but does anyone reckon it's some wacko plan by You Ess Gubmint to have 'calamity released to coincide with prophesy'??? Wouldn't put it past 'em.

I suppose anyone who has listened to these programs would know this, or thought the thoughts anyway.

Great programs, take a look and I dunno but does anyone have three spare hours in a day to listen to radio, besides me?

So, a followup on that question: Where do you get these Progress Reports?

Lastly, I don't know what Mike's doing now but once you know this sort of stuff, you don't simply give it up - I suppose he's just not talking about it.
