Things have been very calm at Atlantis. The Wraith and Replicators are unusually quiet. Neither has been seen or heard of for weeks. However, rather then being happy about this, the personnel are worried. Why would they retreat? Something is comming. A new enemy, far more dangerous than Wraith and Replicators. Taking over the galaxy piece by piece. It's only a matter of time until this new enemy will strike at Atlantis. Can the Atlantis team stop this new threat before it reaches the Earth? Or will the Milky Way Galaxy be doomed as well? What are these new creatures? And what do they have to do with the strange blue box that suddenly appeared in the Atlantis 'Gate Room? Much more than people would think.

Meanwhile, the Stargate Program have gained new additional personell. United Nations Intelligence Taskforce, UNIT, have had several of their own personnel added to the project, having decided that they can no longer let the American Government play with the fate of the world. There's immediate suspicion between the two organisations. Will they ever be able to trust each other?

As if the Atlantis personnel didn't have enough on their minds, an SUV suddenly falls from the sky, bringing Jack Harkness, head of Torchwood. Now his team are searching for him back on Earth, unaware that he's in another galaxy. Will they find the captain? Will he return home within the near future? Who knows?

And who is the mysterious Harold Saxon, who recently joined the Stargate program? Old friends and enemies will appear, new life forms will be encountered, battles will be fought. Are you ready to explore the universe... through Gates and Blue Boxes?
