welcome to hogsmeade, population one hundred and one. wait. oops. correction - population one thousand and two, now that the students and staff of hogwarts school have evacuated from the nearby castle and into hogsmeade for the rest of the year. dorm and classroom buildings can be found in hogsmeade now.

honeyduke's sweet shop is a favorite among young students. owned by a warm and elderly couple, honeyduke's has a wild variety of all sorts of wizarding candy. there are chocolate frogs, drooble's, and bertie bott's, and sugar quills, licorice snaps, and more. it's like candyland.

madam puddifoot's tea shop is the place for girls worldwide. a large variety of tea included, madam puddifoot's is a nice, girly shop for dates on valentine's day. though most boys find this tea shop appalling, the girls just love it here.

obviously, since the owlery at hogwarts is currently unreachable, the post office is where most students send off their letters to their families, and where they get their presents from their mothers. the main communication method right now, the post office is increasingly becoming more crowded.

the shrieking shack.
most students and surrounding families of hogsmeade are deeply frightened of this haunted shack. once a month - more accurately, every full moon - howls and wails can be heard from the shack. though actually remus lupin and his animagi friends, the whole town refuses to come close to the shack.

gryffindor housing.
out of four, similar buildings only different by the colors of the wall, this scarlet and gold building is the temporary home for the gryffindors. no longer are they separated by year. boys and girls are still in different dorms, boys on the right, girls on the left. it's just like the ones at hogwarts.

hufflepuff housing.
ever since the evacuation from hogwarts, the hufflepuffs from years one through seven stay in this building, streaked with yellow and black. a cozy sort of place, hufflepuffs swear they can still smell the kitchens, which were right next to the hufflepuff common room before they evacuated.

ravenclaw housing.
the house of wit and intelligence currently reside in an exact replica of their former common room. encircled by the essence of blue and silver and bronze, the ravenclaws stay here just as if nothing as ever happened.

slytherin housing.
finally, the slytherins stay in his building, of only green and silver colors. this building is the closest to the borders of the forbidden forest and the shrieking shack - just the way the slytherins like it. inside, the cold feeling of the common rooms are here just the same. it's perfectly fine.

classrooms
before, there were five levels of classrooms for every single subject offered in the wizarding world for the young fledgling witches and wizards. now, all the learning takes place in this large building. classes are larger now, and schedules are mixed. amongst all the confusion, students still find the time to learn.

the great lake.
one of the few areas in which voldemort allows hogwarts students to stay, the lake is very quiet now. all the underwater creatures know of voldemort's presence, and are immensly afraid. nonetheless, some students come around, for old time's sake or something of the other.

the quidditch pitch.
wizard's most popular and exciting sport. it would be even terrible for voldemort to cancel quidditch matches, after being kicked out of hogwarts, for the students. quidditch games still go on occassionally, but fear is always with the excitement of the students when the matches begin.

the courtyard.
the last recognized area allowed for students, the courtyard is nowhere near as active as it used to be. sure, the birds are singing, and the butterflies are flying, and the grasses are swaying, but the students are in constant fear of whom is inside their second home right that instant.

the grounds.
grasses surround the quidditch pitch, the lake, and the courtyard, in which students are allowed to visit occassionally. the grasses are always healthy-looking and it looks peaceful enough to say that nothing is happening when something actually is. the grounds are a quiet place now.

diagon alley
all of the magic-learning students come to diagon alley every summer to get new supplies or buy new robes to wear for the term. usually, it was only the hogwarts students, but now, a few beauxbatons and durmstrang students come here to replenish their stock.

the minister for magic, millicent bagnold, is intelligently running the british wizarding world efficiently, even with voldemort on the loose. there are many departments within the ministry of magic, which can be reached through muggle or wizarding methods.

for all of the magical injuries you can possibly imagine, they can be taken care of and or fixed right here. with a large number of professional staff, this is by far one of the the best hospitals around the world.
