When posting maps, Its best to include descriptions, pictures, and all extra info such as game types so others will want to play your map.
Choosing what category your map goes in This part is simple, what sort of map are you posting.
*game types like 30 days of night, boss battle, or any other objective style game where you need infection to set it out goes in Infection*
Naming your thread When naming your thread, begin each name with one of the following: [DISC] [HDLC] [LDLC] [MDLC] They stay for disc map, heroic download content, legendary download content, mythic download content respectively.
Once you've started it off with that tag, Post the map name and that's it. Then put the maps name and thats it. do not describe the map or use ANY extra symbols in your title, if found doing this, you will be given an infraction and possibly banned for repeat infractions.
The ONLY exception to this rule is if your posting maps like 30 days of night, boss battle, or any other style games where there is an extra objective that follows the "honor rule system" then you need to end the thread title with what its based off.
EXAMPLE: [MDLC] Bowsers Castle [Boss Battle]
Posting the map When posting maps, you need to include a description, pictures and finally a download link.
Your maps MUST include embedded pictures. As long as there is at least one picture your fine, but the more you include the better the chance someone will download your map. Your link to your map to download must be liked to the map on Bungie, NOT to your fileshare.
Embedding your pictures. The easiest way to get pictures of your map is to take photos while in theater mode, goto your bungie profile, right click save, then upload them to photobucket, from there you can get codes to post them in your thread.
Helping out other members If someone whos map isnt up to standards, feel free to link them to this thread, but do not do it repeatedly, if caught doing this, you map be banned.
Hope this tutorial helped.
